It’s a problem for farmer trash. It isn’t a problem for the game as a whole. If you want to make decent ISK then grow a spine, leave the tutorial zone, and go take that ISK. As long as you remain farmer trash and hide behind CONCORD protection you deserve nothing.
Or become a trader, which is likely what I’m going to start doing, still would be better for newer players to have rich PVE content to do
Trade at least involves interaction and competition with other players in the player-driven economy. It is much better for players to make money from trade than from combat PvE.

If anyone thinks that easily bottable site with endless and immediate respawn in same system, that pays 5mil after completion to three persons with most damage done to npcs in that site, LP, and decent loot as well, salvage and means to mine megacyte in highsec was a good design, you are just stupid krab who doesn’t care about game itself but only about his ISKs.
Funny when you claimed the site is fun to do, now all I see is ISK/H rate. So in reality the site is not fun to do, especially after you do dozens of them, it is just mindless grind anyway.
I don’t see why it should immediately respawn in same system over and over and why should there be an easy way to make ISKs without even flying into next system or some competition.
I fully support CCP decision to not only nerf the respawn but loot as well. In the end, this might actually increase a loot/salvage value in long run when most botters and bot-alike-players (who do exactly what a bot is doing but they actually controll their accounts - which to me is practically the same).
Unfortunately so far it doesn’t look like it changed much. Yes maybe 1/3 players doing EC gave up, the others still run it whole day. It seems that for those who are running the site 24/7 with a speedrun fit and alts to collect full reward it is still profitable to do, more than anything else in highsec (with compared difficulty).
Imo, it would be better if the respawn was nerfed/changed to the way how normal anomalies like Faction Den works and the loot was much better. And remove the payout to 3 persons, make it to the one who kills Vedmak or last standing npc, or you know rather than giving 5mil after you kill last NPC put a bounty on the npcs…

Yes run to low or null to become… oh ya still just a farmer. But it’s " cool " farming according to Merin. Sure the pvp can gain you some profit but most have to fund their pvp play through guess what??? Yep, farming. You will be so cool though, like totally!

Nah, you’ll be in actual danger of being involved into PvP while farming, which make the whole thing more acceptable for obvious reasons.

If you think that changing the rate of use of content does not change that content, ask yourself how of a content anomalies would be if the respawned once per month.
The difference is, 15-20 minutes is a fairly reasonable timer and allows you to access that content daily even if you play for one hour and even if there is a competition for it. “Once per month” isn’t.
Yeah, ISK payout was decreased, but the game is not about hoarding ISK.
hu, no ? To farm a content, having to wait 10 min is just a no-go. Maybe YOU don’t mind it, but that’s typically what people hate in Eve : having to wait for so long in order to have content.
1min was nice for chaining, gave the time for the MTU to scoop the last wrecks.
Anoms are fine because there are several anoms per system, so you can have several people playing in the system and still be farming 100% of the time.
The payout wasn’t decreased, it’s still 4.5m, just the respawn time changed to 10 minutes. Unless you actually enjoy the content, it’s not worth the time.

It was. The maximum number of red loot was reduced. This means the average red loot value per site was actually decreased.
It is only so if you intend to farm it.
Project Discovery is also farmable and can force even bigger wait timers, yet nobody complains. Because Project Discovery is not “big ISK-making activity” and EC’s were.
