Wow you really don’t get what your saying, you’re not capable of understanding you are implicating yourself. You said the action is heartless, but i am not taking the action. You are. You do see that right? You do see you need to be responsible for your own actions. Right? You get this concept don’t you? The point that is being made (given the benefit of the doubt that you are actually not understanding) is that you called out gankers. Now you have on several occasions called gankers heartless, sociopaths and evil, as well as suggesting they just kill things for fun. If we accept your description of gankers then these would be exactly they kind of people that would set you and your fellow corp mates to bad standing and you know………….maybe go hunting for fun.
As such you have potentially made everyone in your corp an active target of players who perhaps might want to make a statement against you and your corp for your actions in the forum. In switching corps the implication is you have left them as targets and abandoned them.
Now I’m sure this was unintentionally as you don’t seem to be the kind of person that would understand the implications of their actions. At this point id question if you know what day of the week it is. However either way abandoning these players after putting them in the crosshairs of gankers is pretty cr*ppy thing to do.
But I’m sure you will have a justification for that as well. Perhaps Aiko used her mind control and made you do it? Whatever it is I look forward to the entertainment.
Eve is set in a ruthless corporate dystopia, and players are afforded the option to be a part of that setting. That is, they are allowed to be ruthless. Playing Eve is optional. If you like that setting and want to participate, you can. If you don’t like it, you can opt not to participate.
People who play Eve don’t have to be ruthless. You can be any way you want to be, but you have to accept the consequences of your actions (or inactions) and those consequences include whatever the other ruthless actors decide to take advantage of you for.
We all choose to be in Eve or not. We put up with people being ruthless as a form of entertainment. What you’re saying is that when someone shows up who doesn’t find that entertaining, the party is over for everyone who does enjoy that. Maybe you don’t understand how it could possibly be fun, but for some people it is.
It doesn’t matter where a person makes their home. High, Low, or Null. You watch your back and you take every advantage you can get. If you don’t put forth that effort, you get dunked. You make a mistake, you get dunked. You live, you learn, you do better next time. Eve is full of second chances because you can never be made to stay dead unless you want to. Each defeat another reason to build anew so you can crush your enemies.
This is just a fancy game of checkers. Nobody is supposed to get mad when they lose a checker. It’s understood that’s the point of the game. It’s not griefing to jump the opponent’s playing piece. It’s expected behavior. It’s not sociopathic to win in a game of checkers, either. It was understood at the start you were in competition. The person who loses and whines about the rules of checkers, though, would be showing some poor sportsmanship.

I believe that ganking makes high sec a fun place. My problem with it however is that Eve hasn´t actually supported it with its own mechanic since the inception of eve (anyone remember moo?). Ganking right now is so easy it is very boring. Give gankers and prey some more mechanics to play with.

I started as a solo ganker. Princess Aiko’s T2 Catalyst was enough to turn a Hulk into an explosion. Now exhumers are too tough for a single cat. So I hang around choke points in my shiny Falcon. Mostly I’m not able to save anyone from being ganked, and when the kill appears in chat I’m usually glad that I failed. If you’re full of cargo expanders then you deserve what you get. Maybe it’s time to get out of my Falcon and back into a Catalyst.

You do realize that this is a sandbox game and that HS gankers are part of the ecosystem, right ?
Where each chooses what they want to do in this universe, and it’s what makes it unique.
You can choose to respond creatively to adversity, or not, and it’s entirely your choice in the end.

Many people insisted he is an autist and have super human skills so he can control 20 accounts at the same time etc etc.
Ofc this is all BS… considering I work with kids with autism for more than 12 years now and I never met one with super human reflexes… anyway. That is not the point.
It was my fault. I stoped playing for some years and than came back and joined a Corp in gallente space and all my stuff was in Amarr.
After 30 trips bringing my stuff. I was overdosed by all this travelling and played with my luck for my last trips.
Ganking sucks a bit but there are ways to avoid it. Most of the times anyway.
Don’t play with luck, play safe. Be smart.
Don’t mission in SOE systems or any systems below 0,7 anyway (if even makes any diference) don’t fly blingy ships everywhere.

I said 1v1 ganking… go for it, knock yourself out, it is part of the game. But thats not whats happening. its 25x1v1 meaning 1 person is multiboxing 25-100 ships and overloading people, the server, the game to gank.
