Well, i’m barely playing EVE nowdays because of RL. But if this is going to be the price increase, that might be the final nail in the coffin in killing the game for me.
I’m a 2004 player. And quitting EVE is the last thing I actually want. Or I might not actually quit EVE in full, but quit paying for EVE and then just play as an alpha character.
So be careful here CCP. You might lose ALOT of players with this.

People need to understand how the global rise in production affects Eve’s production costs.
The freight companies are having to charge CCP more to ship internet spaceships to your door. During COVID a lot of ocean liners were scrapped to keep their companies solvent. This means less cargo space for global logistics.
You see eve is a a very bulky and heavy product. One hour of game play for just one omega character can fill the cargo hold of a ocean Freightliner.
Also, the specialized mining equipment needed to extract internet space ships from Iceland’s volcanos can only operate using Russian crude oil.
This is the real reason prices are going up. It’s fake news that CCP made big promises to PA and consistently failed to meet them through miss management and are now gaslighting us with an obvious lie about production costs.
It will be 19.99GBP. Since currently it’s USD:EUR:GBP all the same price, I doubt price hike will be any different for GBP.
Unsubbed 3 already. This is pretty much the last straw. You don’t give us any continuity on story, you haven’t released any expansions, you dumpstered our economy making it harder to make money which means less people are willing to take risks and then wonder why the player count is down. Just fail as a company already so we can buy the IP.
$19.99 dollars currently = £15.56p so you know its gonna be £16 quid a month
I do not yet exactly know what ‘these adjustments will have an impact on other currencies’ means, but I would assume you get a new base price in GBP too based on conversion rates.
But as we know, CCP doesn’t strictly follow conversion rates (dollar:euro = 1:1 according to them), so I wouldn’t know the exact conversion rates they will use from dollar to GBP.
I would think it’s safe to assume your GBP prices will get changed, though.

We play until the servers go dark or we are priced out.
When cost increases are significant like this, it’s a sign that CCP feels they can’t increase the number of players and that revenue growth is about making the current customer base more profitable. Worrying for the future.
Was going to FANFEST but I am getting my refund
in USD, it is a 33% price increase. Expect something in that general ballpark.
Can the Jita node be reinforced because it might need to be given the riot this news is going to cause ?

People complaining about having to pay more (a fair price) for such a great product can shut up.
To play, we must pay and support the game adequately. I’m am infinitely happier to be asked to pay more like this than to keep receiving all the discount spam, spam that in my mind has been devaluing the game.
My only criticism is that you have given notice of the increase and have thus created a cloaked discount. There will be a drive in sales before the deadline as people try to book at lower prices.
I wonder if it’ll follow that percentage in game.
