You shouldn’t ask me specifically, because the answer is “no” and my income has been increasing above inflation for the country I reside in, and this year is set to be no different.

This makes re-subbing a difficult decision. I was planning on subbing a second account this summer since I won’t be in school and will have more time on my hands but that is definitely off the table. I cannot afford $40 a month. $30 was pushing it but somewhat doable. I honestly think CCP could have gotten the money they need by increasing OMEGA by $1 or $2 and people would have understood. The price of a cup of coffee adds up after thousands of players.
Don’t forget to add on the cost of avocado toast too.

$20/month I can deal with it… but theres 2 extra character slots on an account, 3 total… and were being charged an additional $20 to train each slot as well… $60/month to have 3 characters going on an account is f#$%&@! rediculous!

Nobody is forcing you to pay to train each slot at the same time, that’s a choice you make. Alternatively you can inject SP into those characters. Nobody is forcing you to use those two extra slots at all.

You can use all three slots for the cost one account, even FREE tier, just one slot at a time. Everybody knows this, from the day they sign up and log in. What you want to do is use them all at the same time without logging into those characters, that’s what costs extra.
This is also how it works on other MMOs, one slot in use at a time, no background levelling.
I would like to see that completely gotten rid off, no background levelling, make you actually play the game to level up like other MMOs.

That sounds great and all till you have more than one account. I have 10 accounts so for me to sub all of them for 1 year costs me about $1400. If i go with the 2 year its $2700. That is what some people make in a month.
We all can’t have everything we want all the time, what I am reading in the forums is what would be considered digital gluttony.
Greed is good when multi-accounters want to do it, but not good when CCP does it?
Is it so traumatising that somebody with 10+ accounts will have to do with less?
Some people can’t even find the time to play with one character nevermind 30+ characters.
It sounds a bit rich to me.

What greed I am a consumer of a game I like that benefits a player to have several accounts. The issue is that eve does not provide enough content for $20 a month or has affected peoples play styles to the point that why have that many subs at that price point. This was supposed to bring in more money but a lot of subs are being canceled. Less subs are bad and less players is even worse.
Fine, pay up then, if you can afford your 10+ accounts.
If you cannot afford 10, then you pay for 9, if you cannot afford 9 then you pay for 8… you see where that goes.
Frankly I don’t have an ounce of sympathy for that situation.
Enjoy your luxury (and lack of interaction with the real world).

I can afford my 10 accounts just fine but i choose not to pay for that many because it does not provide me value at that price point. They are playing the game of Netflix and rose prices yet did not offer the content to make it worth that so many people canceled subs because ccp is dumb. For some reason you think this about money for most people and it is not. It is about the fact that things are still broke, content is lacking, and etc.

Games 20 years old, been falling since 2013. Server has to switch off some day.
Ubi just closed off a bunch of game servers recently.
