For what, exactly? We got nothing out of this to justify crap. The FW overhaul is good, and long overdue, but where is this ‘biggest expansion ever’?

So… Nothing? Why would CCP go in so heavy on pretending they had a big content expansion when they knew that like a month later, they would have to admit they haven’t actually got anything at all? This is just plain bizarre. I mean, they literally framed it like ‘we are betting the company on you being stunned by the largest content expansion ever’ when they knew they had zero things? Why, CCP? Why?
You need to train corporate doublespeek to at least L1 
Even ARCS are nothing new, we had them when i started playing eve.

From listening to him I doubt that he means “Mission Epic Arcs” but “Development Arcs” where player acitivty and decisions shape the progess of EvE, meaning new features may be delayed, sped up or changed slightly in outcome based on what the player community does during that (multiple weeks or even months long) ARC.
Alt least thats my understanding.
The ‘ARCS’ stuff was mostly story arcs… which have been in EVE since the beginning.
@CCP_Paragon said the price increase would be offset by sales until after the new content was released. There is apparently no new content, so where does that leave it?
Player activity already changes eve, and yes I agree but its still the same thing an evolving story or progression.
So far just software polishing and reasons for the last few years of changes.

I was hoping for an expansion on par with wormholes. I was bracing myself for the disappointment of an expansion on par with Pochven. It did not even occur to me that there just flatly would be no new content at all.
Well, they did add a new currency. Cuz we needed to do that again.

*I know its a repeat meme, but i made it and its still applicable. Clown, i didnt catch what the new currency is for but it seems yes we now have a new aurum.
He is right about one thing, you have to keep a foresight on new technologies and markets to stay relevent. You cannot depend upon vets from 20 years ago funding multi-accounts to keep you afloat forever.
Excel integration is basically a partnership to sell Office 365?
What about Libreoffice?
How about open source the excel extension and charge for the API service?
