Some of us have built up accounts over years, and enjoy the options it gives. I really don’t know that I want to go back to just 1-2 accounts.
It may be an all or nothing proposition for me at this point.

I can understand the need for a price increase, but the timing is so bad its crazy.
If you have not heard, there is a war going on, in Europe. All of the worlds economy is affected to a high degree. Prob not the time to ask your players for even more money when the economy is a bit shaky right now for a lot of players. Personally not really affected by it, but a lot of people are so this move is one hell of a bad faith move.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t some “Art of the Deal” trickery. Say we’re going to raise the price an outrageous amount. Then back it down to what they originally wanted and post something like, “we heard your feedback and we’re only going to raise the sub price to $17/month. You’re welcome.”

I normally don’t post on forums, especially not here, but I had to say - This is absurd. 20 dollars for a month? No other MMO in existence charges more than 15 dollars a month, inflation or not. I like to subscribe to Omega from time to time but now I can say with confidence I never will again.
They’ve already sent out a mail announcing the price change. Just like the misguided structure reinforcement change, it’s here to stay. Unlike the player base.
Well, that settles me resurrecting this account from Alpha, or keeping the two other accounts I was going to drop to bring this one back.
I’ve personally had no real content added for my purposes in at least 5 years, apart from CCP finally making Marauders the mission runners they SHOULD have been ALREADY.
So, with further drops in online numbers I suppose we can anticipate even more hikes as CCP bails the boat harder and faster instead of putting the boat plugs back in.
That’s the 'Murican Way I see every project meeting, work harder and faster, never smarter.
It is the right of a business to raise their prices, I don’t think you understand what this game is.
This game isn’t a right for you to come and enjoy.
It is actually a valuable, purchasable item, and the best of its kind. You are now being asked to pay an reasonable price.
CCP have boldly raised the price for the long term sake of the game and I respect that. When they flooded the game with discount spam where was all the outrage then?
None of you were outraged by that because you suffer from myopic views. You only care about your own wallet and what is in it and cannot see the bigger picture.

Even that was half-arsed, they’ve messed up the account names at the top, and not even sent out regional pricing for people - I pay in £ and its only got the $ prices so not a lot of use.
you don’t keep for almost 20 years the same price and then raise it for no reason
I wounder how other MMORPGs are able to keep their Subscriptions on 10,95$/12,95$ a month for 20 Years even with regular 3 Month content updates and new DLCs every 2-3 Years (sometimes even less) which sometimes even Doubles the base game).
Compared to that Eve was always already more Expensive for no reason.
At least i cant belive that Eve is more Expensive than a AAA - MMorpg if it comes to upkeep and dev cost… if it is so… well…
and now we get to the Area where eve is Double the price than the Big other Games, and also you almost need a couple of accounts for various reasons…
(imageine how much more empty the game was if EVERYONE only uses one Account)
so… one month eve (with a few Alts) or one year something else hmm.
I doubt that move will help to get the game somehow “Healthy” on its way to the 20year Celebration of Eve comeing up next year.
Well almost made it.
Half of my Alts are running out soon, main is still subbed till December.
Lets see how the Situation is than, which discounts are comeing up till than and than decide if its still worth it.
I mean Maybe now with the more Money they make, they will invest into content updates every 2-4 weeks and make it worth it?

regional pricing is gone due to people using a VPN to get a sub at the lower cost. Unfortunately this is going to hit you a lot harder than the US playerbase.

If your intention is to stop players plexing accounts then bravo: together with account unsubs caused by the increase I reckon there’ll be a 50% decrease in concurrent numbers, heading into the Northern Hemisphere summer.
Congratulations CCP - you’ll be able to celebrate the anniversary of the last time your concurrents fell below 10,000.
Or is this just a final money-grab before shutting the servers down next year?

CCP is a serious business corporation, and after pouring their collective business minds into the matter of eve they have decided it would be a good development to price correct the game. To correct the price to a level suitable for a best in category single shard sand box.
And I am one of perhaps 2 players that is on board with it and can see it.
Good for me.

This is a ■■■■■■■ joke. If I’d play a different game I would have to pay 14,99€. Here, I have to pay 19,99€ for one account, but to really play the game I need at least 2-3 accounts, so at least 39,98€ or 59,97€ & most people have even more than that.
We should pay for your ■■■■ ups? No.
