I really thought at this point we would be past the bombastic demand type posts. I was wrong.
Why are they required to send you a personal announcement through “active mail”? Is that a law in your country or just something you feel you are entitled to because reasons?
The price is NOT going to get rolled back. That would be pointless. The people who have quit would not come back so there would be zero benefit to it.
And heres me thinking the original price was steep!? bound to happen eventually i just want to know if i can trade in plex for less game time instead of buying one months of omega game time id like to be able to buy 1 day omega game time this will help me to budget so much better considering i dont have that kind of money every month and i have never played this game for an entire month of membership anyways so would be really great for us poor people!!
Except that 1 guy now needs other players to help him meet his rent and quotas or he gets evicted.
Bear in mind I’m not saying it’s a good idea, or will work they way want (forcing players to form communities to work together).
But I believe this is what they’re aiming for.

Yeah I think you’re right, but that one guy is just going to walk away from the game, he’s not going to find others to help because there are no others at the moment.
I don’t think CCP will ever see an increase in player collaboration and population by effectively removing content for the past two years and increasing sub cost.
When you look at activities such as mining and PvP where efficiency would scale with collaboration they’ve been hit hard over the past couple of years. You can’t force people to work together in a game by making the game an endless grind and then asking for more money for the inconvenience. It’s a game, an escape, a place to relax, it should not be a grind for Plex or a burden on the wallet value wise.
I love the game, I extended my sub on the historical price because that’s what I value the game at currently. If the content value doesn’t increase in 12 months to justify the cost increase then I’ll likely walk away. And graphic updates will absolutely not be enough, the game needs content and fast I think.

Also, I’m tired of spending my TIME and MONEY to train something just to have it nerfed and made useless.
■■■■■■■■ because you just “see” the player that can afford the TIME to continously play the game. For me that is out of question as I am in project business and have only the one or two month to play between projects.
Second to that… The provided “content” over the years was way too low for my taste. So increase in fee but no content provided means no money from my side.

EVE Online has two main issues:
Zero f**ks given about new or ramping-up players. “We throw you in the ocean and either you’ll drown or you’ll swim”. I am (was) a ramping-up player and I want to just confirm that all these changes in recent 1-2 years is just a facade, nobody cares what WE young players think and need. It’s just a facade to mark a task “ Improve new player experience” done.
Absolutely ridiculous pricing. First of all - asking MONTHLY for a sandbox game (where players make content, not devs) a price of a full decent game is pure greed. Buying Omega cost me more than paying for my 300/300 Mbps broadband connection. This is sick.
Second thing - 15€ = 15$. I live in neither dollar nor euro country and I am forced to pay in euro, meaning 20% higher price. I had to create a fresh acc on Steam to be able to use prices converted from dollars to my local currency.
Third and final thing - seeing “Omega price changes” my immediate thought was “Oh God, niceeee, finally someone did a sanity check about the prices, I kind of miss Eve and lower prices = count me in!”.
But then I read the news and it was like “HAHAHAHA. Uninstall”.
It took me few months (of not playing Eve) to make up my mind and finally say “good bye” for good.
I’ve just uninstalled the game and to be honest I feel a relief.
I just logged in to the forum for the last time to say what I think about all of this and say a last “good bye”.
This is not a single F … U… by CCP but only the latest in a long line of " Take it or leave it " well I would hazard a guess this has slapped them in the face yet again. This game was NICHE, the players were different from the console players, for the most part. They were devoted to the game, hence the number of players that plexed multiple characters all the time. CCp acts like the aggressor in a bad relationship, and we the players are the ones getting beat on. Time to break free, and alot have finally said bye bye. It doesnt matter that CCP is not in control anymore, One plie of crap doesnt smell better than the next.
Exactly, CCP tries to change content by nerfing everything that was introduced in past updates. Constantly trying to reinvent your preferred game play style doesnt work for most people or for very long. And this is touted as a space sandbox, you can play how you want. Not for a very long time now. Sure there have been major exploits that have harmed to game, but who brought those changes into the game even while being told by the player base not to do these things. All we ever get is we know whats best, we are the programmers. Thats worked wonders in the past…

Im actually not sure what this games going to do, They need to move and move quick and they just arent. They promised we would have content announced that made the game worth $20, And i have not yet seen an update thats justified that, Or an announcement.
Sure the UI changes and graphics changes are cool, But they are not content, and the game is majorly lacking both end game and mid game content.
Paying rent in a game seems like a 2nd job thou xD why not just go to npc null, with the corp taxation on lp coming soon TM a corp will make way more and survive way better out there.

I pretty much agree with your entire post. I’m really not sure why you posted that in reply to me at all.
My post was stating that they were not going to roll back the price increase and why I felt that way.
