Yeah pretty much the same, VAT is just set by the Govt. and historically leans more towards “luxuries” than basic required items.

its been a while since the big announcement of price increase followed by exciting new stuff. the exciting new stuff did not include gameplay. it did include a new UI that is wrought with flaky elements. if it becomes the only UI i will be done playing. what ever possessed them to think that a prettier , more immersive world is what players wanted? somehow , prettier planets as i warp through space is not making me go ooh and ahhh. it makes me wish we had actual devs making the game more fun and interesting. we dont need another round of proving grounds we need things that make players want to play EVE

Ok thanks for the update can you please evemail me in game with a ruff idea on what your new tec three sub cap pirate faction battle barges that can black opp drop into cyno jammed systems there jump portal ranges there specilised drones for dealing with the capital fleet fighters and a ruff idea of how many plex and skill injectors my main will need so i can assist you in shrinking the eve universe so that we togeather can increass the retention of new and old bitter vets also is there a way for me to invent and fit a bubblebreaking smartbomb style high slot using mod so i can set up a new rooks and kings style of gameplay in the sandbox so we can togeather increase the risk of gank teams having the tables turned on them .

Imagine being so entitled of a playerbase that you complain that a developer who honesttly, should have been increased there sub prices (like other MMO’s have) and over the years, they have given free expansions where they could have actually charged money for them.
All of these expansions were free, and had content in them (whether you liked it or not is your opinion, fact is that they contained it)
Guild Wars 2, Guild Wars, Runescape, ESO I can literally go down a list of games and developers who have changed there pricing structure but the difference is save for one game and that is a sneaky line (runescape) all of these games offerred there (expansions) for a price.
I’m not going to get into the senior level developer and paying what they need, and it being expensive because honestly, most people mad about this don’t actually care about the game just about a golden era of what the game is or could be along with there gameplay being gone which…is fine games do change and they don’t stay the same, you should probally play something else.
EVE is justified in what they are doing, the ones that are mad about the ingame pricing means they have a hard time paying the game to plex there account, which is a toxic way of playing in my opinon, but it is a valid way. You treat the game like a job, because you are not willng to downscale your activity.
Which is a YOU problem, not a CCP problem.
When I first played this game when I was younger, I could not afford a sub fee. I stuck to F2P games when I was younger until WoW but even then I was on a friends account. A bit later, I had to Alpha because I could not afford the game because I wasn’t in a good spot, I also wasn’t at the best spot ingame because we were moving to null and I wasn’t really having fun with the game. Was that CCP’s fault? No. I didn’t allow myself to learn about the game and really figure out where I wanted to be / play. I let someone else tell me how things should be even though they weren’t forcing me to think that way.
I came back, as an alpha clone (made a few) and found out that Faction Warfare is where / what I wanted to be and things have been great ever since.
Its okay to take breaks, its okay to not want to play a game because other things interest you more or things get rough. Thats not on CCP.
You all are entitled, EVE players got all these expansions for free in the past, SWG you even had to pay for the expansions and guess what, even those had complains some arguabally killed the game.
If I couldn’t afford something, if I can’t afford something I just don’t play / pick it up. Its not that hard.
If a new player can’t pay then its the same thing. The problem with players though, is that they are pushing activities to try and plex accounts while they should be trying to push players into activities they want to do more of or want to enjoy, and then push for just subbing for a month and trying to pursue that activity and seeing if its for them or not.
Instead of pushing so this activity makes this much isk, and this activity makes this. Push things that alpha’s can do, maybe not well but can actually do and see if that player wants to do more. If they do, they omega for a month and see if they want to continue. If they don’t they walk and thats alright. For everyone that doesn’t there are others that does.
- players who mutli boxed for there enjoyment killed progression for themselves, and killed the game for themselves.
- players who rely on buying and selling plex with ingame activities and are complaining about the ingame price and the activity not scaling with that price don’t understand that they are the exception not the rule.
- touch grass, in another game and stop acting like you care about this game anymore. If your not undocking and your just spending time on these forums because you miss (the community) just leave all together. I did it for the game I played because it went into a different direction but it didn’t mean I hated the game or the dev’s, its just a different game now which is fine.

You do realize that faction warfare with alphas is not for everyone right?
Assuming people in poorer countries have as much money as you is the definition of entitled.
