Didn’t rage quit , just reconned that with the price increases, a good time to move on when my subs were due, burned out having played since 2005. If I return will be just 1 account which I cant see happening as no idea what 1 account could do without scouts/ support alts.

I do everything on a single account. Alts are too much of a hassle for me.

So let me get this straight. You Devs at CCP thought it would be okay to just hike my sub up to 20.00 USD per month and you didn’t even consider the excise fees that we here in the United States have to pay just to pay for this game which many have left that I know over the years. I started back in 09 and even bought several years worth of Omega time during my college years. Sorry, but I’m going to bow out and tell everyone in my alliance to do likewise because love the game or not. I can purchase games that I own for the same price that aren’t as old as this game. Maybe you all should have considered this before making such a stupid move, but then again, I’ve learned over the years that’s pretty much all this company does is make dumb decisions.
Ok, but since you get isk for playing the game, and can use the isk to buy subs - isn’t the price of the sub substantially less than 20.00 per month?

Either way VAT doesnt apply to subs that Im aware. Even if it does, excise is a fee on imports/exports of physical material iirc.
So VAT is just a Federal tax? Always thought it was an additional tax on top of regular taxes. Learn something new and all that. State/local taxes are on a per state basis here. For example, Florida has no state or local tax, Nevada has no state tax, California has all the tax and thinks of new ones almost daily, etc.
Nothing physical about any EvE sub, so still don’t know what he’s talking about. And there’s no tax/fees of any kind added to subs for any online game here. Hell, we don’t even pay tax or fees on Steam purchases. lol
Well Im just trying to work that out. Im not sure exactly what Federal Tax is but it seems to more or less fit the bill.
As for the rest, yeah Im on board there. After Brexit I would have thought if there was a customs charge on my EvE subit would have gone throuh the roof like all other Customes charges but no, no change.

Yeah pretty much the same, VAT is just set by the Govt. and historically leans more towards “luxuries” than basic required items.
maybe op was going for the added value we are getting in game for the price hike.

Last time I checked, no one can reach into another players ISK bank account and take isk away from them.
No, these players freely give their isk to her. And she in returns offers a service. Providing them SAFTEY.

its been a while since the big announcement of price increase followed by exciting new stuff. the exciting new stuff did not include gameplay. it did include a new UI that is wrought with flaky elements. if it becomes the only UI i will be done playing. what ever possessed them to think that a prettier , more immersive world is what players wanted? somehow , prettier planets as i warp through space is not making me go ooh and ahhh. it makes me wish we had actual devs making the game more fun and interesting. we dont need another round of proving grounds we need things that make players want to play EVE

Unless the ultimate objective aimed at on their side, it is neither more nor less a game which is only played in solo?
