Some of us have so many alts it is difficult to track who is who, it would be useful to get an additional and optional display in the info window, managed by ACL :
-no info
-main
-alt of [character] / [character]'s family / [character]'s best friend
You can just use the Notes Feature when you click a Characters infowindow and add your notes there …

Players who do not wish to have their main of an alt known to everyone for good reason would not like such a feature to exist.
Players who wish their alts to be known as alts of a main character can do so with custom corporation titles. Many players in my alliance seem to do so, it’s pretty useful.
And in case you know the main of an alt or know anything else about them that you wish to remember you can as Denise says indeed put it in the character notes. That’s where I put all that info.

Put your alts in a chat, add them as contacts, add contacts with labels, add notes.
Make a list of your alts and put it in their bios.
What’s next? Are you going to ask for pronouns?

Just write in your BIO all your alts and bank accounts. If you are playing the game like Main character and Slaves… this doesn’t mean that everyone are doing the same or this information should be exposed. If you want to expose it, just expose it in your bio or give your characters the same name…
He did say optional. If you don’t want to expose some/all of your alts, you don’t have to.
I personally would like such an option. I have some alts that hang in the same chats as my main, and it’s a bit annoying to explain to new guys who I am all the time .
For this purpose many people in my alliance have corp titles with their main’s name on their alts so people recognize alts.
Works well, fully optional.

I get it, but for that you’d still have to open character info window (which is a joke in itself right now) and most guys just don’t do that. I’d want a kind of an option – a tag maybe or something readily noticeable – that would be visually explicit and simple and inform others whose alt you are without them having to open a character info window.
I might as well just write my main info into my alts’ bios, but absolutely nobody reads bios or checks your info window, unless they really need to.

That would be readily seen and easily understood without having to open up an additional window for the purpose. Again, it would be optional. If you don’t want to disclose your main on your alts, that line would not be there.
Come now. Some of EVE’s most famous treachery would never have happened if this were the case.

And it will continue to happen, even if Fenris reads this and decides to implement it in-game. It would be completely voluntary for those who wish their main to be known on their alts. Pretty simple, and non-committal.
