can flipping wasn’t griefing you can’t have griefing in a pvp sandbox without additional harrsment that’s covered by the EULA if not actual laws, and that’s what I’m looking for proof of

but ive been reading these threads and playing this game on and off since 2004 and this is just one narrative amongst many,

its just your seems to revolve around ‘humans are predatory’, ‘it is our nature’ and this whole story about obsession with killing, like something is actually being killed,

am I right- in your narrative, are you really saying that none-consensual pvp is greifing,

or just joining up sentences about brain connections, and climbing mountains that seem to mean something but really

are just self justificatory nonsense?

I will be honest, I never intended to get in a discussion with you in this thread, I tend to save my time for those who either
a) contribute
b) contribute by arguing with me in a constructive way
c) entertain and add content in their own style eg. Diablo and Galaxy Pig
d) Trolls who pretend they are ‘looking out for the children’ and who try to use logic instead of just trolling- they tend to stop posting after a bit- but at least they can bring some forum pvp even if it does get a bit weary after a while

I don’t think any of those descriptions fits you, based on what you have had to say so far BUT

if its just google translate I am sorry, typical English only speak one language, not much use, but I’m sure you meant well.

I think what you have said here is that I am THE problem player because I use words to say things.

Depends on why I was doing it.

I would say that you are malfunctioning, but I think we are essentially in agreement on this. Maybe you could explain the ways in which YOU believe yourself to be disabled. Afterall, you know yourself better than anyone else.

You said that you are better at “this” than I am, despite being disabled. What does “this” refer to? What is “this”?

You provided a definition of bullying, then demonstrated it for us with your behaviour, thank you. I did not even have to set you up, your own ego did that. This last post was the cherry on the icing on the cake.

Well this has been an entertaining ride and no mistake.

Everyone has personal responsibility for their own behaviour.

Some here dont care and so dont modify it, and as no stick exists to suggest otherwise, they have no reason to.

Others have a purpose they wish to explore, and know that modifying behaviour in the face of opposition yields results.

Be a yammering immovable rock of little consequence, or the river that ignores the rock and cuts a new valley.

The choice is yours.

And some further info you might not find on Wikipedia
for anyone who has been following Mr Mayhaw’s posts, and who may have some to some wrong conclusions as a result.

People with Autism are more likely to suffer from other mental disorders
Sociopathy or Anti-Social Personality Disorder is a personality disorder
A diagnosis of Autism actually does preclude a further diagnosis of personality disorder
so they are mutually exclusive
If you are using the terms in their technical sense

Now if by sociopath you mean someone who says and does things YOU find anti-social, or indeed things the wider society would find anti-social, then yes an Autistic person can do these things, but this would not
be criteria for a diagnosis of APD.

EDIT- have reported, wont reply to Mayhaw again, he’s shown us who has the power, and who took the money, and that the person who takes the money, does not always have the power.

Tell us where you learned this interesting little tidbit.

No one is diagnosing anyone over an internet message board.

This is your word. Stick to it . . . if you can. I can’t bully you if you just stop reading the thread, and you might also want to take me off your contact list. I’m not replying to him. Again. Ever.

I have reported him. If it is against the forum rules to say I have reported him, then can a mod just delete this post.

I added him to my contact list because I was going to use in game means to deal with him as has been the way of eve since the servers turned on.

Now the effort involved making a char specifically to befriend him and get proof of his toxicity before destroying all his stuff, is no longer required.

It is in this thread.

I hope CCP act and at least warn the guy, the difference between blowing up someone’s space ship, and singling them out for repeated harassment about their disability, which has never been the substance of his discussion with that person.

Quoting someone out of context twice in a row to highlight that disability, then declaring the player ‘malfunctioning’- amongst the other moves he has pulled in this thread-
and three times in a row not replying to my argument or discussion but only the fact that I have Autism-
must be harassment if anything is?

I am not sure what he hopes to achieve?

Regarding an Autism diagnosis precluding a PD diagnosis, well its to do with personality in the technical sense, and the access to personality ‘as such’ that an Autistic person has, I don’t need to provide a source, he can look it up if he cares.

OH, and the rules he broke that make him a problem, are the very rules he laid out in great detail at the start of this thread, you know when we were all being asked ‘who took the money’ ‘who has the power’. Oh, and the EULA which specifically prohibits harassment.

I believe that the only response to this is now to ignore and not respond further to Mr Mayhaw.

I appreciate @yellow_parasol for advising me to cool off and stop responding, but I am glad I responded so far, as all I am seeing is a great community, with a few outliers who are getting more and more offensive, and likely to be banned, the longer they continue.

But I really am leaving this thread now.

I hope the thread is not locked or closed or disappeared, as it is a wonderful demonstration, for anyone who asks, of the difference between none-consensual pvp and actual griefing- it also shows definitively that any examples of bullying and harassment produced as evidence of supposed toxicity- resulted in player bans- and that CCP and this community take these things seriously.

Thanks to you all for your common sense and decency.

EDIT- especially discobot, I thought he was dead, glad to see you back buddy!
