There are protections for new players, perhaps a little research.
Coward.
Everyone living in high sec are carebears. No exception.
The only difference between the carebears dwelling in high sec space (there is also another species who live in null sec) is that some admit who they are, and the others repress their true nature and live in denial
“Is true that we also live in high sec using the safety of stations and the concord protections, but we are not carebears because [insert here some convoluted rationalization] and [some more rationalizations]”.
Indeed. People who need to hide the face behind their words have no words worth considering.
So says a player who talks big while running around in a cheap thrasher.
Speaking of people being cowards, why did you use an alt to join Spectrum? Too scared of being labeled as a bully?
If the value of your ship defines the value of your … epeen …
… then that’s not my problem.
Even if you post on a main you are still anonymous, so it is all ■■■■■■■■ when it comes to alts and mains on the forums.
Also I can tell you as a software engineer (30 years experience) from a developer standpoint there are no alts or mains, only customers.
Is that what you do when war decking people, to ask that of me?
If only it was so, but it defines the size of your balls.
Which means it is
It already exists. They call them starter systems and new players cannot be killed or scammed without dire consequences to those that killed them.
In general.
I once held a suspect noob in a starter system tackled and introduced him to our (former) culture. I explained him what’s going on, why the current situation is hilarious and “forced” him to write a praising forum post in exchange for five million isk.
He loved it! This stuff doesn’t happen in any other game. : D
What if you just live there so you can hunt them?
So carebears are carebears and also the people who kill carebears are carebears?
I feel like the term becomes inexact and unuseful at this point.
Indeed, whether we operate in null, low, high or wormholes, we are all carebears.
Some are care(ful)bears ,others are care(less)bears; and then there’s the care(free)bears with AK’s.
Something-something taking actual risks…
Some people are in dire need of “Getting a Life”, I guess.

At that time players were friendly and helpful
Horse manure.
Actually this is probably the most accurate part. He’s not really an old player, though. A so old player wouldn’t hide behind an alt. Nowadays most older people are still quite nice after blowing you up, though.
We just hate the whiners and due to them being whiners, they tend to be more visible.

This is a response to a deleted post by the OP asking an ISD member to remove fraudulent voters from the poll.
I think you should leave it as is, with the explanations of what took place and why the results are skewed.
Opinions on the topic aside, it does illustrate that some voices are disproportionately louder than others. Awareness of that fact should encourage folks to pay more attention to the speaker’s identity and less to their decibels. To conceal the deception with a correction and leave people ignorant that it occurred would help preserve its effectiveness as a tactic, which I’m sure you don’t want to do.
