EA Game Survivor Search Mission All hands on deck

As we all know, please Akio, chime in. As we all know EA games recently went private, which a lot of EA gamers do not like. I would expect EA games subscribers will go down dramatically, especially if hands are reached out to EA gamers to come and hang out in New Eden. EA games are mostly console but CCP Games does have FPS based games. If CCP were to branch out and create platforms based on the old EA games, but different, perhaps CCP Games could create a, comfort haven, for the disparaged EA gamers.

With there having been a few Arab players asking about Eve Online having an Arabic language section, my gut is telling me that a platform similar to Eve Online will spring up in the dessert, like and oasis. An oasis that we need to get to first.

What would the new ship be called? The Bullhead.

I’m sorry, but why should we listen to the opinions of people who have clearly displayed a lack of basic judgment when choosing what game developers to support?

EA has been a garbage company for DECADES now. It transferring into private ownership and removing business decisions from non-gaming shareholders should be a new industry standard.

EA Games has around 265 million subscribers, my guess is that at least half of EA subs will jump ship and leave. That’s a huge rescue and introduction operation that much is certain.

Why should non-gaming shareholders be kept out of the mix? Basically you’re saying people with no idea about what gaming is should be allowed to make decisions for the gamers?

I would ordinary applaud a move for a company to go private in some circumstances. Even the sale of a studio to a company that has a heart for games and gamers. Sadly this is not the case.

It is not just the Saudi’s in the mix or even Jared Kushner. It is the private equity firm called Silver Lake Partners. The concerning part here is not that the Saudis are in this or that Jared Kushner is part of the deal. Either could be a concern as neither the Saudi Prince or Jared Kushner give a sweet d— about either games or gamers. The real concern is the equity company. We are talking about vulture capitalists.

Buying the company is really not about wanting to improve or even take the company in a different direction. It is about raiding the assets of the company. If this follows the usual pattern. They will load EA up with debt. And load up again if EA can make the payments.

It is what happened to Toys r Us. They were actually paying the debt down while still, barely, making a profit. Then the equity company loaded Toys r Us with more debt. That it could not hope to make the payments.

At the end it will be a self off of the parts of the company. Which is generally worth more than the company as a whole. So while EA will produce and continue to support games in the near future. The quality and how it done is going to suffer in the long run. Until one fine day the doors close and a sale of whatever is not nailed down is put on sale.

Once this sale goes through. EA time is on a clock ticking down.

I see you’ve never bothered to train your Reading Comprehension, even after all these years.

My bad, I forgot to preemptively block your stupidity from the onset.

That has been resolved, good riddance.

Their first game I played was LHX. I think the last was Zero Hour and I noticed it went downhill from there.

I miss toys r us, as a kid i really looked forward to going there. I was too young at the time to know why they closed their doors and now that I know this is sad to read.

There is one Toy R Us left. It is in England and the only one that is left open that I am aware of. That particular store was sold either before the closer or just after the chain assets were sold off. I am not familiar with the particulars of why that store was able to retain the Toy R Us signage or even still be identified as a Toys R Us store.

There’s a magical place, we’re on our way there…
