If you want more consequences in eve, starts it with the big fish. A lot of fishy things happening outside the game that affects what’s happening in-game.
Doubtful. Or was Niarja the only system TEST defended? Niarja was a hit job and they were the hitmen. I’m pretty sure someone from CCP is behind that because they wanted to shake things up.
The only time I got involved was when the trigs were invading Bei as it’s in my neighborhood. I think I got a hat or something for that. I never even used Niarja and it didn’t affect me at all. This isn’t about game mechanics or the impact on traders, but the in-game lore in response to Syzygium’s comment. From a lore perspective there would be consequences.
Or load the “C” (I think?) mining crystals to destroy the juiciest asteroids…

What exactly is “the thing” TEST did in Niarja vs any other system TEST was participating in? The Goons themselves where fighting against the trigs. But for some reason they show up in force and switch sides momentarily to kill that one system out of the blue.
CCP wanted lasting damage to show how edgy they are. Simple as that. You’re free to disagree, but nothing you’re saying runs counter to that narrative. They handicapped Caldari forces and knew for weeks the way ECM worked was a detriment to Caldari NPCs and they left it that way on purpose because they were getting their 3x9 systems no matter what. Pochven shouldn’t even exist on the Chinese server, but Pochven was a predetermined outcome. So it’s not hard for me to believe CCP directed the leadership of Goons to take out Niarja. They probably got some nice T2 and T3 BPO’s under the table.
If Edencom forces had tried a little harder, they could have defeated the Trigs, and elevated 3x9 star systems to Carebearland.

I don’t really trust those 2 Alliances. Sometimes they do secret deals that the Higher ups only knows. Maybe Test and Goons showdown at Niarja was just a clown show and also maybe @Aiko_Danuja knows something that we don’t.

So it’s not unreasonable to suggest I’ve actually spoken to them.
I actually directed the joint Goon-Snuff-FRT-Safety ambush of TEST’s evacuation freighters. 1 trillion isk destroyed, all on Vily’s watch.
