Adding more ways in-experienced players can die to NPC’s does nothing for the game. Now if it was new ways for players to kill other players then we are talking.
Afaik EDENCOM spawn randomly in empire space so if you have negative standing with them you have to treat empire space like null sec
only some system…do you even play the game at all ?
EDEN and Trig stuff should be moved so it can only spawn in null sec
Bakster Kane should be move out of the forum so it can only spawn in real life
You are wrong.
The invasion had nothing to do with nullsec. Go away.
People who want EDENCOM and Trig in empire space do not seem like the sharpest tools in the shed
Btw. prepare to be blinded by a yellow forum background
EDEN and Trig stuff can stay where they are, their systems just should have a route-symbol so you are notified if one of their systems is on your route and they should attack player ships with the same mechanics the Faction Police does in other systems: NPC standings - EVE University Wiki
That means:
- the occasional gate patrol only has like 3-5 ships that may attack a player with low standings, but they do only moderate damage and can actually be fought in a reasonable well fitted ship. Like a full t2-fitted Battlecruiser and adequate skills. They don’t point or scram, just web/neut.
- turrets they place stay inactive unless you attack their forces or commit a criminal act (work like normal gate sentries).
- If you shoot them, they will respond with more and stronger reinforcements. These reinforcements can point and scram and will sooner or later overwhelm you if you stay.
- if you have a standing of -5 or lower, they will spawn for you if you stay anywhere in that system for more than a few seconds.
This would follow the simple and understandable design concept of the NPC empires, people can dip into those systems and still have the chance to retreat if they realized they made a mistake or quickly just travel trough. Players who want to actively engage in that content can also do, by staying there or fighting in the Anomalies and Combat sites in those system. Win-Win. Game just got better for everyone. No more instakill deathtraps for inexperienced players. No single disadvantage.
OR people can just avoid those systems, plenty of space to go around.
he dosn’t play the game, probably using chatgpt that explain ( wrongly ) how the game work
If I lose a ship. I know immediately two things. 1 I screwed up hard. and 2 I am not going to rant about how stupid it was to lose a ship to a well known game mechanic.
I make semi regular runs to jita. Before I go I do my research. Find out where the gankers have been and most likely are. Now I do not have that much trouble with concord or edenicom. As I do not play the content that you evidently have.
Try this site instead.
I use it to get to Jita and when I making any plans to leave the system I am currently based at. It is why I am wily old man. I plan as as well as I can always assuming that I can still run into trouble. But already have bookmarks to warp out as fast as I can. Highsec can be just as wild and wooly as low or null. Especially around Jita. Also instead of being sore about losing the ship. Take it as a learning experience and move on.
Man, you guys have a real hardon for AI.
That’s a good thing. It just means, Many Humans still wants to think for themselves.
very good
The problem with that…
A fair number of those aren’t good at it.
swingers who vote?
voters who swing?
What about singers who drink?
Drinkers who wink?
Frostpackers who frost pack?
A swing vote is:
- In politics: A vote that is not predictably loyal to any one party or candidate and can go either way in an election. Swing votes are especially important in close contests because they can decide the outcome.
- Example: “The outcome of the election could depend on the swing vote in key battleground states.”
- In decision-making bodies (like courts or committees): The vote that determines the outcome when the rest of the votes are evenly split.
- Example: “Justice Kennedy was often the swing vote on the U.S. Supreme Court, tipping the balance in closely divided cases.”
Bottom line: A swing vote is the tiebreaker or the unpredictable decider that can shift the outcome.
For the uneducated…
This topic has officially gone off the rails.
