Empire level 4 epic arcs guide

Nice,

I just got 2 over 5. The next two should go in the next round of epics.

Hurry up, the 75% standing booster stops working in two weeks.

??? Missed something. I just finished them so I cant run them again for 3 months

Gratz.

:astonished:

Oh really, I didn’t know there were any active Social Boosters left in the game. I have all Epic Arcs open to me right now so I’ll definitely have to log in and run them before those Boosters expire.

By the way, out of the 23 different Factions active in New Eden, I currently have positive standings with 16 Factions, negative standings with 4 Factions and neutral standings with 3 Factions. I can raise 2 of the 4 negative Factions up to positive standing without messing up the standings of the other Factions.

Pretty soon I’ll have 18 Factions positive, 2 Factions negative and 3 Factions neutral. Once I get that, I’ll pretty much be done. I could raise the other 2 negative Factions to positive standing but that will make my positive Concord standing become negative, and that’s something I don’t want to do since Concord Assembly controls High Sec systems.

Bah, I have like 20-30 boosters left

Yea, right now the name of NPC is being looked up in the eve online dump database, so all effects of given enemies should be correct, like scrams / webs / neuts / etc

As long as the names are correct

And CCP has to mess this up with 20% reduction on tank… So adjust your fits accordingly…

It’s not a 20% reduction on tank, it is a 20% reduction on resistance modules, which is NOT the same thing… so adjust your understanding accordingly.

It’s still a nerf that lowers the ships resistance stats thus lowering the overall EHP’s which means a weaker tank.

Meanwhile the NPC’s keep getting buffed with each new content patch.

Yes, but keep in mind that if you run omni tank, which a lot of people I’ve talked to do, 20% reduction on resistance modules in some missions might be tricky.

We can adjust to this since most of us have loads of ISK and experience, but somebody doing this first / second time, or really early in his gameplay will have lots of issues with this and if he looks up some of the older builds people are suggesting, he might run into troubles.

The first one I ran with my trusty old Maelstrom and without mastery V levels would not survive those missions with this change. I mean this will put current Pith A resistances to what, a bit better than T2?

This whole thing is like a big laugh, ā€œwe need to nerf capitals so we will nerf EVERY single ship in game so you guys can have more PVPā€. I am sorry, but it just doesn’t sit with me. I fail to see how this would engage more people in PVP and I also feel like they forgot about PVE content.

Across the line will be even more trickier now, enemies spawn at 120km and orbit at 50-70km range while shooting missiles at you.
Cowardly commander has loads of tracking disruption, energy neuts and enemies pounding at you, without some serious skills / ship mods it was already hard for gun boats.
Showtime also has loads of incoming DPS, there is 5 battleships pounding some nasty alpha on your ship.

And yea, you can argue to change ships for each, but come on, eve travel is so slow, not all of us want to spend extra hours just traveling and preparing ships, especially not if the reasons provided for this update are not really sound and valid. Also, even though I personally could afford to have specific ship in each region with all the modules to save on travel and refitting time, not all players are in this situation.

The patch is not only about nerfing Caps but in general to make more people die in PvP and make high-end PvE more challenging. The outcome for subcap PvE is not collateral damage, it’s intended.

It’s the opposite. CCP literally wrote that they were worried about this and that this was worrying them enough to doubt the patch.

Rise wanted to be nice, and of course they have to take action if stuff can’t be done anymore. They said they wanted to make high-end PvE harder from being totally solved right now.

{citation needed}

On the opposite they said they did not want it.

No they did not. You are wrong and spreading rumors. Please stop.

Nice detailed information.

Will be very helpful indeed.

Thank you.

@ Amarr Empire Epic Arc - Mission 5 Cowardly Commander - pocket 3 - wave 2 - last BS killed from that group triggers completion, instead of last ship killed as you wrote. Checked it on 3 toons to be sure.

You can pretty much do the caldari epic arc alone in a tengu, and you can even carry enough ammo for the whole arc in your cargo.
