First time I have never logged into the forums. I just logged to let CCP know how much of a dog SH*t idea this is. You have zero control over botters and this is your piss poor lazy-ass attempt to stem their ratting income. I hope you bleed subs through the nose and its costs you a small fortune. Your dev team clearly dont play this game. You are destroying it. You have destroyed nul. This coupled with the mining changes means there is next to no not point being in nul sec. Joining a few fleets run by some twitch steamer does not constitute to âplaying the gameâ. Wake up CCP. you are making your game trash. The only people who sill suffer financially, is you. Idiots

TL;DR; I will try out these changes, but this strikes me as way too time consuming.
First impressions from a null-sec, mega-block line member, filthy casual, sci-fi fan, who really loves the graphics and sound in a game where most people turn off bothâŚ
I think the problem with these changes is a general undervaluing of player time. I pay for my subscription, but I like to be able to pay for doctrines with in game generated ISK. My preferred method was mining (expedition frigates or barges, with porpoise booster, no rorq), mega-nerfed, not worth âmy timeâ for the ISK now. I let 3 of my 5 toonsâ subscriptions lapse, as they were primarily there for mining and industry support. As a casual, they are not worth the sub money now. My 2 fleet toons were subbed for a year, one sub-cap pilot and one dread alt, plus one industry/hauler/mining/reprocessing alt (now also mostly useless). I generally hop on, run 1-3 anomalies every other day or so, and then log off just to keep ISK coming in to help with the weekend warrior fleet loses, ammo fuel. I donât see that as viable under this system. I am not going to hang around for 3 hours to try and get ratting payouts, I am not able to commit that kind of time.
Again, Iâm willing to see how it plays out, but likely see this and sending me to X-box Series X, where I donât like the games as much, but I can play with my nephew, where the bonding is of high value even if I donât enjoy the games as well. (NOTE: I canât sell him on EVE, though I continue to try 
early teens, twitch style gamer (think Destiny 2). He will try EVE just to hang, but definitely not his thing, way too slow for him.
These changes make the time spent playing EVE considerably less valuable to me, beyond the ISK value (which is also crap currently without time, I donât have time/isk to move or ship stuff to high-sec). Of course it will be different for all, and ideally for CCP, the changes might attract more small gang PVP loving people, but I fear these changes will mark the end of EVE Online as a regular recurring form of entertainment for me. I donât think I am alone. EVE has been amazing and continue to wish CCP and the players all the best.

uh⌠thatâs literally the entire point?
starting from 2016, eve has experiencd a ton of bloat since the rorqual changes and carrier fighter changes, it resulted in a ton of ore and isk flooding the game and ccp realized it was getting out of control. that was literally the reason why ccp started the whole âchaos eraâ changes to experiment with the best way to reduce the bloat and slow down the faucets.
ccp released a devblog explaining that itâs too easy to make isk and needed to adjust the ecosystem. but the slippery slope nonsense these kids cry about are pants on head dumb.

Well, there is no ISK made easily, if u did make isk easily like afk not efficiently ull usually make no isk, because of the endless reimburmsents for your ratting ships due to stupidly loosing them. Now its even harder, CCP u think what u r doing now will force players to buy PLEX?? Hah, dont let me laugh, ull just see the stream of accounts unsubbing, and ull see the whole community raging on u and protesting and more sh*t that u dont like(not to mention CSM), just try to ask us what do we want in game, and balance it to the ecosystem U HAVE PLAYED WITH, but fuckin up 75% of players way ISK isnt a balance, its a disaster, ull just make nullsec ratting being a retarded job for retarders, please CCP try taking the healthy ecosystem view from player prespetive not from your blind prespective

It seems that CCPâs solution to botting is to create bigger problems so I wonât have time to care about bots. I didnât like bots, but now I like CCP even less than bots. I wish the chinese luck. Hope youâll be overrun with bots after I and others leave. With an approach to players like that, you deserve it.

Can CCP focus on something that will help the 0.0 players? i feel like mostly its all about nerfing us all the time. Granted im in goons but guess what⌠when you get 30,000 players together in a centralized area we will create our own police force to protect us (umbrella) Mining was fun in groups and honestly i enjoyed getting dropped on and the ensuing battles, some we lost and some we countered successfully. Now mining is gone. Ratting yikes thats boring but hey its one of our limited ways to make isk now that im aware of and going to impose these mandatory ESS. Super boring. If you want constant small gang pvp, GUESS WHAT you wont get it when you form 1,000 people for a fight.

Actually im planning to join GSF as well, but I dont think we can protect all the ESSs in each system in Delve

When will they just stop and admit that they â â â â â â up bigtime and they are desperate to slow down wealth generation. I mean everyone knows about it might as well jsut come out and say it. âWe dont want you to make isk anymore because we have too much in the gameâ.
The last few lines should never appear in any game ever in any way or shap or form.

Well. They will have to gank only shuttles because fielding anything else becomes increasingly economically impractical.
Im pretty sure they said only medium or large size ships will be able to enter the accel gate.
Truly, itâs not like we wonât be able to make isk. You can get
Abyss filaments anywhere and run those instead of anoms. You can run low rent anoms that donât pay isk and just live off the escalations. You can start an FW or high sec or low end wormhole alt and have at it.
Itâs not the end of the world, itâs just bloody stupid and it shows that CCP hasnât learned something important about itâs players. Weâve literally been here before and i canât bring my self to link that 9 year old dev blog again lol.
Whatâs (probably, i donât have a crystal ball) going to happen is that people are just going to rat in defended systems, set some ridiculous fit âESS Defense Fleetâ alts on/in the ESS (Im already thinking remote rep brick tanked Dominixes) and accept that their ratting income just takes longer to generate because of the dynamic bounty thing. The rest of ârattingâ space goes empty, yet no one can claim it because as soon as they try, some mega block is either going to slap them down OR let them in so line members can soak up THEIR ESS isk. zit will be a PVP tax on small alliances that claim space.
In other words, this new ESS will probably all just add up to RENTING BY OTHER MEANS where as the big block just takes the ESS isk as tribute lol. But this time, the renter is paying in isk AND blown up ship hulls if they try to defend their ESSes lol.
The thing that irks me isnât just CCP repeating history, itâs YOU PEOPLE (yea, I said it, you people) doing the same.
Time and time again on this forum Iâve watched as CCP announced a wrong headed change that was supposed to be good. People come to the forums to complain and the âCry moarâ brigade starts in on them. the plot twisty thing that happens, though, is when the change happens, in some ways it ends up benefiting the wrong people, while screwing the folks who defended it on the forums.
I was here (well, the old forums) when people declared âtake that goons!â when Dominion Sov was announced and it was gonna break up the big empires. It did the opposite, and all those âF-Goonsâ people became renters or ended up back in empire as ever big blocs swallowed up space and their alliances in a Blue Ring of Death.
Or like when the barge buff happened and the anti-gankers laughed at the gankers until the gankers took 3 seconds to figure out that all they needed was like one more Catalyst and INCREASED their ganking lol.
Youâd think that would make people cautious about defending a change CCP is making. But of course, it Donât lol.
