Im not sure if you know where isk comes from or how does the economy work but whos going to buy ur Escalation loot? Or whos going to buy ur Abyss loot if lets say half the players that used to generate isk from bounty just look for something else to do.
Its not like you can make a “Lot of isk” selling Red loot.
Its not like ISK will just come out of thin air so others will have it to pay for whatever you selling.
you can make isk by selling blue loot, fixed price and all that

I swear we keep re-living Blackout. People (in this case, PVP players) can be really short sighted. They honestly though Blackout was going to be a PVP paradise and were totally shocked when people just quit playing in null or quit playing all together.
I’ll probably defend my ESSes for a while for a change, but a lot of people are just going to say screw it and do something else in and out of game. And like everything else, it will probably have some unintended consequences that hurt down the line.
I linked a 9 year old dev blog because something like this happened before. What I didn’t do was link the patch notes from like 9 or 10 months later when CCP walked back a lot of those anomaly changes lol. Like Black out, I could see this happening with this ESS stuff as well.
Its simple. Try and farm anything C4 or higher and see how long you will lalst. Ofc you can clean out a C3 and sell the blue loot but do you know whatsthe respawn rate on sites in a wormhole? Its abbysmal. You are not going to make isk from blue loot if you are not an already established WH alliance. Simple as that.
Also whats there in 0.0 after this that will be worth anything? C64 moons are privatized in every power block and theres nothing you can do about it. So whats there to keep the avg Joe interested? Mining is ■■■■■■ up. Ratting is getting ■■■■■■ up. What does 0.0 offer anymore? Why wouldnt i just do level4s in HS?

Anomalies aren’t the only isk faucet. It’s only big as it is because its some of the easiest isk to harvest. But many other activities give isk bounties too, like Incursions and Agent Missions.
Hell, this change might be good for the isk availability situation in the long run, making the isk we do have more valuable. But I think in the long run it will be a mistake and more space goes unused, pvp hunters have lets to reasonably hunt (meaning less ships blowing up which is BAD for eve), and fewer people engaging in , well, anything in sov null.
Easily harvest-able ratting isk is, whether CCP likes it or not, one of the pillars of the null sec lifestyle. Just like local. Screwing with pillars is bad for any structure…
But again, I don’t know, so we will see, Just like Blackout.

Because it requires a considerable investment but at that pace if would be nerfed long before you can have any meaningful returns.
Also this is not clear for me but that payouts on 3 hours is set to every individual separately from the point they first killed a rat or its a global timer that pays out every ess content every 3 hours?. So can we like "Lets log in the stealing alts in 5 minutes because the 3 hour timer is coming. ???
