This is not even to fight botters. This is a good change for botters. This is damage control after the Rorqual changes.
Edit: Just so you understand hunters will rather go and try to steal ISK insted of killing the botters.

Iām speculating based on my experience with both CCPs attempts to change anoms and CCPs wider attempts to direct behavior that have, historically, backfired? Iāve already said I donāt know.
What exactly is your problem?

For those wanting nitty-gritty details, you will have to wait until the feature is live and log in to discover them.
I think this is just dumb. I get that CCP wants to encourage āorganic learningā (or something) but withholding details like how much % the ESS is going to take from my rat bounty doesnāt make me organically learn.
To give an example, if I was new and wanted to earn as much money as I could from anom ratting, I would go out and try different ships, ask corp mates and friends what ships to try, and organically learn what works best. Having to go onto the test server (or wait until the patch comes out) to read some text in the agency window is not organically learning, itās forcing me to do extra work because whoever wrote this blog is too lazy to write a couple more words to give the details.
CCPlease, there are times to withhold information, such as everything that goes on in Pochven, but this is not one of those times.

It would be nice if you could take this and stick it back were it came from along with the DBS, as if its already not hard enough to find pvp content in null and on top of that you want to encourage even less ratters and make it even harder to make isk for the people that do rely on isk to plexā¦ yeah good job ccp nice work as usual keep up the decisions of wisdom that will see the death of null

Well thatās poo poo. LP was one of the great benefits of using the ESS.

The issue is not learning from the past. There are (probably) a bunch of things that CCP could do to make anom ratting spew less isk/wealth into the economy while making them more engaging to do and less friendly to both bots AND isk printing super carriers.
But instead of any of that, you get the ESS, a thing that sucked so badly that most ratters didnāt use it even though it paid out more than youād get normally AND is easy as hell to defend because you can just put it in an over spawned forlorn rally point and watch it kill thieves for you.
In other words, itās annoying. Not the end of the world by any means, even with the Dynamic bounty stuff. itās just evidence that the guys who develop my favorite game arenāt learning and will (again, probably) miss yet another opportunity to improve something in favor of screwing it up for no reason.
I always just hope for better from CCP, but this smells like āBlackout/Dominion Sov/Original war dec reformsā thinking.
Doesnāt mean I wonāt try to have fun with it, with like a zero tanked super tracking AB tornado in the ESS site. Hopefully Iām wrong and this isnāt just another bone-headed CCP mistake.

why donāt you write up a report and present it to the csm so they can deliver it to ccp instead of whining about it here?

True question is : Why CCP collect during all seaguls era idea ā¦ and send all in same time?
If you take each change alone since blackout (blackout exclude and recent redistribution).
They could have been fantastic if they have be done 2 or 3 years before blackout, with people who was generating a lot of ISK, and not āburnā by all consecutive nerf.
Anf for youāre question : Drug , itās the last thing who make itās nice to live in ownable 0.0 ā¦ some drug constellation. All other thing are less competitive than HS or C1 WH (for pi)

Erm, Iāve participated in several PVE Town Halls with CCP in the past (like the ones hosted by JināTaan).
Iām simply giving my view on an open forum. You are under no obligation to read them. Iām sorry if you think pointing out an impending mistake is āwhiningā, maybe you expect people to just agree with you, I dunno.
If you think iām wrong, why donāt you address that? If it turns out to be a great thing, iām willing to come back here later and say so.
