Encouraged PvP for High-Sec or Newbros

If there was a feature to “Find a Duel”. Flag where you’re declared as ready to fight in a duel or something. A pool where you can select your challenger, and meet them somewhere and just duel. you might be able to like filter by (total SP) too i mean to make the battles more even…. I know you can request a duel i think with someone, but this more anonymous i guess, and just allows you to try pvp on your own. Faction Warfare almost has it, but getting to teh warp gate or just flying to a place to participate in a small nvy sct 1 or something cause im learning and i suck, i usually end up getting ganked before i get there. Understood, should find a corp….

I see plenty of people find or ask for duels.

Generally it’s done by declaring “1v1 at sun” in local chat.

Have you tried asking the people that shoot you in FW sites how to do better? That’s how I went from terrible at FW to bad at FW.

Im traditionally a solo player, and i was able to get to a couple faction battles, they were certainly intense and fun. The problem is, i’ve spent more time reading and watching videos about the game than I have playing. Mostly because i’ve experienced the tragedy of just getting blasted for no reason, early in the game it extremely turned me off. Returning player there are some nice new features, but i suck and get blasted trying to get there. Even trying to get to the ‘super gate thing’. I would love to learn at my own pace, but this forces you to be constantly paranoid about losing everything and corps seem fairly ‘comittment heavy’. Like the other options ‘Fleet Up’, I thought a ‘Duel’ option would be cool. My account is probably too old to be secure, but for new players, it might help ease into pvp. sending messages to rando’s like hey i dont know you, will you duel with me seems wierd. its a really ‘clicky’ to ‘duel someone’. i still dont know how to do it, and originally had my options set to auto=reject, because you want learn the game. So learn the game or play the game, seems to be my only to options. Get blown out of the sky trying to figure it out, or spend hours reading over and over and over until you drill this information into your thick skull
