I actually wrote an official email to CCP customer service, which referred me to this website. Therefore, they are actively linking me to you calling me “assholes” and “liars”.
This was and is the benchmark for years with solo play. More is luck, extra skills and niche. And I can only re-emphasize your Povchen part. This is a great area to make some quick bucks with zero skills.
Just checked, with the current Jita price of Veldspar at 190isk/m3, a procurer with nothing but 2 Strip Miner I, with the minimum skills just able to sit in it and activate the miners, without fleet boost can mine 7.25mil isk/hr.
So how the hell can’t you make 10mil isk/hr afk mining?
don’t you guys try to reason with those toxic people. They keep saying minerals now will skyrocket price and it will make you earn more… But the stupid guys don’t realise that EVERYTHING ELSE WILL SKYROCKET TOO specially ships.
Go fly factional ships, advanced ships or SoCT ships for pvp. They’re all good tools for this anyway.
And for T1 PVE ships, doubling price only means a bit more initial investment since you rarely lose them.
You understand that this is the purpose of resource scarcity…
As announced recently, New Eden is entering a period where resource distribution is being re-balanced. It has been decided, in cooperation with the CSM, to give an update on how and why this decision was made. As detailed above, it was concluded that the economy of EVE is in an unsustainable state. A healthy economic environment where players can find opportunities by making interesting choices is the goal. One of the key pillars of EVE is that loss has meaning and a state is being reached where loss is not meaningful anymore for veteran players.
The way blueprints are written, they require still the same amount of resources as before mineral changes, and the mining lasers or ships work the same as before, so people only want more ISK for time they have to spent gathering resources, because that became less effective, amount/h. But further changes that could make ISK more hard to get, could make everything cost less, because of deflation. The supply of ISK being less than before. The ISK/h being less efficient seems to be limiting factor for raise in market prices.
Without the changes to ISK/h rate, there will be inflation even, people will pump more ISK into economy than before changes to minerals. They will be grinding more efficiently and getting ISK for people who demand raise for more effort.
You mean the PLEX that somebody has to buy from CCP at a sizable markup before it can be used to cover a sub?
People who PLEX their accounts “pay” somewhere around 70% more than those who subscribe; unredeemed PLEX are an accounting liability and thus bad for CCP’s bottom line.
