Escape pod events

after almost two decades of abuse from capsuleers dying, the people working aboard our ships demand salvation. each time a ship dies, there should be a small graphic for escape pods. these escape pods warp to the sun.
spawn some kind of site at the sun where people are waiting for pick up.
reward the players with evermarks and maybe good standings with sisters of EVE or some other kind of standings bonus to relevant corporations.
shooting them reduces standings, you monster.

fly it like you stole it.

that would add a bit of flavor, to find dozens to thousands of corpses in each wreck

I would like to put a doomsday device in my pod so if someone pods me i get the last laugh?

Also i think players should not try to make evermarks a thing. There is already ISK, various LP and PLEX. Its confusing enough imo.
