Alot of people are playing WoW classic. Might be awhile for the nostalgia to wear off. I keep leaving eve myself, but then return, because there’s very few games as brutal or emergent as eve.
In 0.0 space a random connection with a fleet ready to fight could happen at any moment, you wont even have time to scan the new hole before they drop an entire fleet on you. So your argument shows your not farmiliar with 0.0 space.
so from 100% safety to 0% safty? notheing between? like 50% safty?
what balance is this?

No but you can cyno in back up in 0.0 and respawn nearby if you get podded. For all the people who are screaming “i dont want to play in WH space so gi e us back local” you keep making alot of arguments for making WH space sound great to live in so why dont you.
how would i make more isk mining putting effort into it, i make the same isk now moon mining in empire as i would belt mining in null with less input and risk. only good mining in null would be if i got the rare moon ores

tbh, i have tried WoW a few times and i can’t for the life of me understand how folkes who play EvE would have any interest at all in WoW in all its forms of stupid. They are like night/day difference apart. Now, i have also played many other mmos that are fantasy based like WoW and played them for awhile. Now i did get into warcraft big time. The strategy based versions that made you think…a little. I just don’t see EvE players leaving for “classic” garbage. yes i play pen&paper D&D and also play Vampire which are full geek. Not sure what im missing here that makes WoW appealing.
Makes sense that numbers are down. Its a very busy time of the year and everyone has their routines changing. we will see what happens down the road.
for me wh dont feel like space - more like flying in the bottle. i dont like this feeling so i dont live there.

What the hell do the ISD know about the future of the game that keeps them doing this on a weekend? I see the game “almost” falling apart and these people have the faith to work a weekend against all odds… Maybe there is hope. But I doubt it…
I do it because I care for this game. I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s what I like to do.
