So I just want to comment on this. These “rich players” are PLEXing their accounts with PLEX purchased by other players using real money. In fact, the amount of PLEX needed to plex the account costs more than just subscribing the account. So CCP is getting their money, and actually getting more money than if these rich players were paying their subscriptions.
Shouldn’t this thread by in General Discussion?
Well, bon voyage, besides your not getting as much as you think as most of eve is infested by trolls, they found a home an plenty of people to play with.
The simple truth is if your an alpha and are struggling join a good corp (not high sec) and they will show you all the rope’s and once you learn all the game mechanics you will see that it is by no mean’s as bad as you think it is being an alpha.
Eve is social game and i am solo player, if you want to play solo you must have cloak and cyno, you have to be invisible in space, minning and other things in eve are boring , why you mine, do pi or product stuff ? to buy ship and go fight. But when you mine much more than you fight it starts to be waste of time.
Who buy plexes ? In eve almost all players are old and rich, new players generally dont buy plexes, they just quitting game. Look at stats, average 20 kilo players play eve for long period of time, couple years ago were 40 kilo. And because of ccp greedy there will be still 20 kilo old players and noone new. After some time eve become free to play for all with ‘gold ammo’ for real money like world of tanks. If developers want have more players removing alpha limitations is not enought, they should give new players bonusses like eg free titan or dread .
Look ccp, to fight with these old, rich, fat null asses, dont i need a titan ?
I dont want to wait 2 years, i want titan tommorow.
This is the most retarded thing I have read all day, iv been playing since 2007 and have never flown a titan and don’t ever want to, if you get in a titan today you will loose it in a few hours time.
If you want to compete with big groups then fly small ship’s, and fly them well, so you can use guerrilla tactics get in quick kill get out quick, if you fly solo bc in null sec you are asking to die.
Stop complaining and get good rather, watch youtube video’s: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa-ySys2dORr8gKx1-t9QAA
You’re all obviously being trolled
Pff scrub ive havent spent a single cent on the game and I’m omega. Its more than possible to play for free.
Put here description of how you did it.
If he did that operation would become worthless isk wise, a hint stop coping other people and explore for yourself.
Then he shouldn’t make that post if he not ready to proof it.
He doesn’t need to prove it 60% of us know he is right.
Well… i can rewrite this on the same manner:
He need to prove it 60% of us know he isn’t right
Nothing will change in the end. Zero of information in such a phrases.
Challenge accepted.
Started playing 1 month before Lifeblood, went through the tutorial. Saw an Astrahus for the first time and thought ‘this looks so awesome I want one’. After that I realised that the NPC FC is useless and lets you die in a Drifter hive.
Did some career agents and started the elite profession of mining that most newbies start off with. Got 4m/hr doing that, meanwhile I received kind donations of 10m and 50m isk. At this time I was slowly learning the game. (\o/ uniwiki)
Decided gas huffing in wormholes was the next step, was pretty nervous at the start. Actually got attacked once, but I love my stabbed Venture
Bought an Algos to try lowsec belt ratting, had a crappy fit but got some help from the community, though I stopped trying after my 3rd Algos died.
I continued gas huffing to save and and skill into a Vexor for highsec PvE. Managed to run expeditions and get some dank loot, at least until it got combat probed down by a Proteus while not paying attention to dscan in the expedition site.
A little while later I tried PvP (dat rush and shakes tho), which got me into my current alliance, A Band Apart. Arms Race was also released, giving me access to all kinds of dank skills.
Continued to huff gas and do relic sites in wormholes giving me 50m/hr, allowed wallet to rise rapidly. Bought my first VNI, which I had some fun with until it got ganged in lowsec.
Farmed more dank wormhole isk and bought a Gila. Unfortunately I got too excited and only managed to run one C2 site before it got blapped. At least I followed the golden rule of Eve to fly what you can afford to replace.
Was kinda demoralized after Gila died, however when I wanted to go mining one day, I found the Astrahus that had housed all my indy stuff had been unanchored, all was left was a hangar container and the citadel itself. You might ask, since the Astrahus was located in a safe between celestials and wasn’t on the overview, how did I find it? Answer: I bookmarked the citadel for cases when I might derp out and not spot it on the overview. Anyway found 900mil in the hangar container, immediately bought an Iteron and over the course of an hour hauled everything into an NPC station.
Space rich now!
Huffed some more and sold the Astrahus (without the mods) and bought another Gila. Went carebear mode with it and ran a bunch of DEDs and event sites in highsec.
Joined ABA’s wormhole corp after that and farmed away at Sleepers while alos having some fun doing small-gang PvP and bashing ops.
Made enough money to buy a Rattlesnake and 500 PLEX, but my faithful second Gila died recently to a group that bubbled a hole.
And that brings us to where I am now. Something you should note is that I don’t play multiple hours every day, just a meager few hours a week. So, you can be a filthy casual and go omega too
I am SOLO player, i dont want to fly in any groups, i want to have strong ship to come to null system, stay near gate, kick some asses and leave, and after destroy my ship i want to have it in garage back like in world of tanks. I can wait for that ship month, maybe 2 or 3 months but no two years minning velspar :).
‘Pff scrub ive havent spent a single cent on the game and I’m omega. Its more than possible to play for free.’
No it is not possible, for free you can only die fast, when you dont have titan you should have at least cloak, without it fight dont have any sense. You write you dont buy plex, it is true, omegas dont buy it and in game almost all players are omega so ccp dont have money.
SPECIAL TO CCP ------------------------
IF YOU GIVE ME SKILLS AND DREAD TOMORROW I WONT DELETE MY CLONE,
10 hours tic tac tic tac tic tac …
Since you want a dread tomorrow you can spend some cash and get a dread.
Maybe you can go play world of tanks then if your looking for that type of game, you don’t play 1 game and then ask the dev’s to make it exactly like another when you can just go play that other game? I’m sure someone has linked it before but: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgvM7av1o1Q, if you want some hand holding and a baby sitter go google electronic arts
I will do it, i am removing my clone and go back to tanks, it is true that you can have omega account from alpha clone in short time when you have luck like you - 900 mln steal. But what next ? You want to buy better ship, if you dont want buy better ship and you fly in fleet you dont really need omega - in fleet you dont need cloak. So you want buy orca, you must have almost another bln to buy it and wait 1 month to do skills for it so you need 2 more omega subs. After all you need 3 bln just to start earn isk in omega account. Then you want to buy dread, you need wait one year and you need 12 omega subs. DOnt you think it is waste of time. Waiting for one ship one year, earning 13 bln for ship that cost 1 bln and then be fast destroyed by gank of 100 destroyers from pandemic horde ?
You wait here… ill come back with a dread later
You can buy skill injectors to speed up training, you can have multiple accounts farming at the same time, eve is about investment investing in char’s investing in skills investing in knowledge if that’s not for you then o/ good luck.
