Youâre insulting the player base with your ridiculous and self-centred carping. The vast majority of people donât want New Eden turned into a theme park as you would have it, and if it does your game will die. It really is that simple. You can stamp and whine and smirk all you like and yes youâll very likely achieve at least a portion of your goal.
Whatâs laughable about the minority who claim to have the ear of CCP and PA is that all of this was likely pre-ordained. Youâll end up with a stale, monetised bag of turds whoâs development will undoubtedly start focusing on the mobile market, much like with Diablo. Then you can enjoy flying around in your legendary Hello Kitty skinned RNI with a Yoshi skinned pilot in relatively empty space with minimal interaction to your heartâs content, providing you are willing (which I can tell you will be) to spend a few hundred dollars for the privilege.
Itâll be epic.

You brought ccp to the edge of the bankruptcy itself and you have lost the right to any respect or consideration.
$40,000,000 in the bank at the time they were purchased by PA is hardly bankrupt.
In all probability CCPs investors sold their shares to PA to return a sizeable profit and a cash injection for their other investments, not because their investment was about to blow up in their faces.

I would guess at the lions share of that 40M being the result of a process called rationalisation. With Dust and Valkyrie no longer being in development, the VR stuff being cut to the bone (because neither the market or the tech is quite there) they had personnel and equipment they no longer needed; and a cost saving that could be made.

2 years ago investor tried to sell CCP as technology company for 980 M$ and FAILED BIG TIME,
after that they turned everything they could into liquid assets and sold CCP as simple bussines copmpany ( ccp has claimed for 15 years that it is a top technology company 
) for 185 M$ ( 225 - 40 in bank ) and conditional 200 M$
GREAT JOB CCP !!
AFAIK the fact that CCP had 40M in bank the doesnât mean that it gets deducted from the initial 225M purchase price.
