Citation needed, I know many āPvEā biased players that are quite happy with PvP in hisec.
It creates demand for raw materials, components, and finished products that would otherwise (in your ideal world) exist only outside of hisec.
It also makes the game interesting for them, planning ahead, social networking, banter, theyāre all part of the game to them.
You on the other hand, just want somewhere to watch the isk counter climb without any of the risk.

No, itās selfish trying to change the underlying base that the game is built on. Youāre literally trying to make Eve the opposite of what it was always intended to be. There was never supposed to be a safe place. Thatās why there isnāt a safe place, and thatās why there never will be a safe place.
Although, Balos, I have a bit of good news for you. Rookie systems are safe. Literally. Ganking is prohibited in those systems. So go do your risk free pve there.
So itās selfish for a PVE guy that has clearly no space to hide from PVP to demand a portion of space from PVP that have clearly ALL of the space?

Considering Iām also a part of it, it makes me feel quite dirty to think there are those of us that feel like he does. Those with such a disturbing lack of foresight and empathy that they would stop at nothing to see this beautiful game turned into a cold and desolate wasteland.

Why not, you addressed me assuming that I am a PvPāer. I am not, and Iām well known as not being one.
I am an industrialist, trader and mission runner, amongst other things. I donāt shoot people in the face, I sell them replacement stuff and shoot them in the wallet.
Your platform for what would effectively be a ātrammelā shard ruins my bloody gameplay too.

I think Balos makes some valid points. Just throwing that out there, forum assassination not warranted. I donāt pvp either. Where is Veers he still around or has he left due to all the ridicule he used to get?
