Personally, I think someone who sees the validity of other people’s arguments shows maturity. Bravo to you. That doesn’t happen often enough in these forums.

Nobody said nothing could be changed. What was said was that your specific ideas ain’t it.
0% of what you posted is new. The same ideas about, “You know what this needs to fix player retention? Some more PvE content!” have been around for years, and they’ve added more PvE content and, lo, it does nothing for retention because actually, the problem is fairly complicated, and who would have thought that the simplistic idea from GuyWho’sBeenHereForFiveMinutes isn’t a silver bullet! Go figure!
Hell, some time back they added the “diamond” NPCs, which were actually fairly interesting new content in their AI behavior and relative difficulty. A little more “alive” than the red triangles you normally shoot, anyhow.
You know what PvE players mostly do?
Complain about them eating up all the asteroids they want to AFK mine.
Man i get it people are afraid any change will ruin everything. Its a legitimate fear. I also play this game and don’t want the eve i play to go away. I am only making suggestions to try and bring in new players and retain them.

I also stated ive been playing the game since 2004 so i’m not the new kid trying to ruin your game.
You are obviously very passionate about not loosing what you love in eve. I respect that.
All i ask is you have an open mind and try to not let your feelings lead you in to many things in life.

Ive tried facts, apologizing, sympathizing, and even just being nice and you still choose to be closed minded that others may think different than you. What is it you imagine that you’ve said is “factual”, exactly?
Like it might be a “fact” that your opinion is that what we really need is some PvE campaign content, but you haven’t actually presented anything in the way of “facts” to support it as a good idea.
I was just talking about how rude and one sided we can all be at times! 
Yes sir we all can be. I’m no exception. We as humans as of late seem to have forgotten even the basics of conversation.
To always be passionate, in what we believe but to only use facts when in a disagreement.

Even as i posted that the real world slapped me upside the head.
“EVE is dying!” has been shouted forth from all sides in these forums from perceived threats to their playstyle. It could very well be true that EVE has lasted so long because it changes so slowly. But it’s also true that EVE hasn’t exactly grown either of late.
I do hope for the best for the game tho. All ideas should be given a chance, but should be critiqued as well. And even if the idea is loved, don’t expect to see changes anytime soon, as again, the game evolves ever so slowly. My only suggestion to you for future topics, would be to keep the thread to a single idea. Such as how to improve existing content, or some such.

But they’re absolutely not something the OP has to provide himself. No sir. Only people that disagree with him.
For some reason, every idiot who posts an opinion here thinks it’s up to the rest of the world to disprove their opinion, or else it’s automatically correct when, in actuality, it’s their responsibility to support their positive assertion.

You must be new as well? CCP has had many good ideas tossed out at them over the years from the player base itself. Most are not headed, hence, the blackout because it was easy…

No, not new. Been here long enough not to have high expectations for my own playstyle, but I am pragmatic to know the the game does change eventually, even if it takes years.
Even if it seems CCP doesn’t listen, I don’t think it means people should give up either. I say, go on! Keep posting your ideas, maybe it will catch on, and you and others may refine your arguments. The only thing being used up is bytes on a server… 
And no worries, I didn’t take it as insult. I’ve got thick gamers skin, and I’ve read enough of your posts to know that you mostly mean to be thoughtful and witty. 
I don’t know why, but I am truly worried this time.
