EVE needs a place new players can try PVP easily

This thread is driven by the feeling that someone requires a significant amount of help.

It’s ranting.
It’s “think of the children”.
It’s irrational.
It’s created out of fear from those who refuse to just learn how to PvP.

OP is just the unwilling/unaware messenger.

It’s driven by OP’s small sample size of new players. OP manages to find people who believe that what they want would be a good idea, while not understanding that it wouldn’t be. The OP accepted that as his own and thus created a thread asking for an idea that’s coming from people who haven’t even really played the game yet.

OP believes that his small sample size applies to everyone equally.
OP does not understand and refuses to acknowledge why his request is counter-productive.

The topic is not being approached rationally, but from the perspective of someone who sees helpless victims who need their hand held so they can get along in the world, while not understanding that this is exactly the opposite of what’s actually effective and proper.

Evolution would get rid of these new players, because they’re incapable of defending themselves. Not because they didn’t learn, but because they don’t understand how easy it already is to just learn it.

Young animals play-fight with their relatives for a reason.

OP ignores that people who are raised in specific ways will be having a hard time accepting anything else but their personal norm they wish to live in. OP refuses to acknowledge and or is blatantly unaware of the fact that training - aka controlled fights - are and always will be inferior to just “fitting 50 rifters and heading to lowsec”.

OP does not recognize that fair fights and training will not make people “prepared”, because there is nothing to be “prepared” for. The idea that one “needs to be ready” has been a myth since 2003. People who claim that they need to be prepared, or ready, are usually those who rarely ever actually feel prepared and ready.

Training them with fair fights will not change that they don’t feel ready for “real world” combat, aka unfair fights.

Should be locked, because it’s pointless ranting based on an irrational, uninformed, ignorant opinion.

Solecist_Project is too low IQ to see what I’m saying without it being spelled out and proceeds to misinterpret everything I have said, then proceeds to make a pseudo-intellectual post for attention.

You should have stopped there, then you’d be correct.

Yes, so then can we make the game easier to learn to retain more new players? The answer is not fk new players if they don’t want to learn lol, which is what you lot are suggesting essentially. It’s a completely idiotic take.

Now you have lost your respect too .
Everyone was polite to you here and no one called you stupid.

I’ve called nobody stupid, I have called opinions stupid. That’s different. I also don’t call things stupid in an insulting way, I’m just being honest, they are ill thought out opinions.

uh what?

You have memory problems or you just don’t know the meaning of the words you use.

Apparently I don’t count.

He is a forum troll, I know who he is, I’ve known who he is for a long time. He is here for no other reason than to get a reaction from me.

Who else thinks that my post actually hit the nail on the head?

Well I’m a bit of a troll sometimes, but when I am it’s actually noticable.

Thank you!

Because it’s not fair, fairness and safety are non existent in New Eden, you either bring more firepower, more friends or play more dirty tricks than your opponent.

This already exists. It’s called FW. It’s not too far from trade hubs and if you have a problem with faction/T2 ships, join a fleet.

Yes but, no need to impose that on a brand new player. I don’t see why a new player needs full exposure to the game immediately.

Why can’t both exist?

Because it’s redundant.
