EVE needs a place new players can try PVP easily

Day one.

Entry level.

And in small sites your are pitting them against T2 dessies.

So you’re telling them to wait.

Now imagine you couldn’t run missions unless you trained larger ships, or waited for friends.

You couldn’t mine. Couldn’t explore. Couldn’t run abyss sites.

I am reading. Why do you want me in particular to respond?

It’s really not. I got my first kills canflipping miners in HiSec (a very old mechanic that has since been nerfed a lot). I got bored with that and I just asked a FW corp to take me and my friends on a NullSec roam and teach us a few things. And I enjoyed it and joined that FW corp and learned how to PvP by doing PvP in the real world.

I’m not trying to get anywhere with you. You’re the bittervet brigade and you are not interested in discussing. You just want the game to stagnate.

you ask for a place for new players to have pvp , i just want to tell you that i have found one and it’s very easy to get fights there . it is also not impossible to win against older players

I am sorry if you are new, but you sound like an alt to me. Also, I know new players exist that learn PVP through FW, but not many.

an alt ? i’m sorry but i do not know what you want to say to me

So the goalpost shifts from “newbie” to “day one” and the vague and undefined phrase “entry level”. Mmkay.

I’m not telling them to do anything. I’m explaining their options.

Not really. I’m a better vet. I want the game to thrive and have started a blog towards that end, where I will be posting how-to’s and spitballing ideas for the game. I want to see the game thrive so I can continue playing it after retirement.

At this point, you’re just baselessly insulting me in order to feel justified dismissing my comments because they disagree with you.

I talk to new players and old players, you sound more like an old player than a new player…and this forum is full of old players that like to post on alts because they think it will help them win favour for their bad perspective.

Ask some new players how many options they know.

I called it!! I told you he’d accuse you of being an alt…

Probably your alt that’s why.

like i’ve got the time to sit and log myself out and back in as another person, or have two instances of myself up on a phone or PC really??

pathetic…

i can assure you that i am a new player , if you do not believe me that is your problem , i came here to express my thoughts as a new player and share the experiences that i had in the game that are relevant to what you demand for us new players. i thought that you are interested into what us new players have to say , but it is looking that you don’t care .

Yeah it is, but I still believe it.

My goal posts are not OP’s goal posts.

But ask yourself what someone is supposed to do if they want to pvp from day one?

Why is it good for pvp to have a higher entry level than other activities?

You gave them two options. Come back with friends or come back after training bigger ships.

Why is that a good set of options? Surely that is a lack of options.

It’s called learning.

And how will they know these options with your new mechanic? You still have to learn and there are already many ways to learn. Your idea seems redundant.

I am interested in the thoughts of new players. It’s good that you found it relatively easy, but other players don’t find it relatively easy. Who is right? Both are right, so if some players find it too hard then it needs to be made easier.

Yeah, learning curve too steep.

Do you understand now I make it this simple?
