Hey I found a couple different filament things in a data site earlier. Not sure if that’s a new thing?

They should have added rewards in the “Activity Tracker” as skins. Itmes, ISK, Blueprints, etc. I do not know … It would be used frequently and we would pay attention to the progress. Still, this super good for our curiosity ^^

(techzer0) #86

How would you know? You’re just a trader.
Said so yourself.

These have been there since abyss started, they’re T1s, the completely worthless ones unless you’re a brand new player.

(Fluffy Moe) #89

Am waiting on CCP to come back and wonder why no one is running them once the initial novelty wears out …

(Ocean Ormand) #91

I guess we should be grateful that CCP is actually following up and and adding new content on to something. After all, there are so many things have been released with the promise of future content only to see them die on the vine. Its just a damn shame that it has to be this abyss crap that CCP latches onto. Its almost as if they dont actually play eve.

(Heidi Metesur) #92

The activity tracker is lagging my client like mad. Salvaging on an alt resulted in two 30-second periods where I thought I was socket closing just to have the notifications all pop up at once.

(dewk) #93

Not unless someone changed things.
I had all faction battleships, Cruisers and frigates done, had no Destroyer, Battlecruiser skill books injected and could use all my ships. Though i did have to go back and lvl those two sets of skills for specialized ships

(Herring) #94

Unacceptable load times between gates, probably tied to the new notifications system. I don’t need it, I don’t want it, especially if it’s a drag on load. Fix it.

(Lulu Lunette) #96

Love the new search tool!!

(Siegfried Cohenberg) #97

I’m experiencing very bad input lag. The game is taking much longer to receive any command that I try to send.

(Gonna biomass) #98

First you want us to tattletale on bots?..

[discobot]

Thanks for joining EVE Online Forums, and welcome!

  • I’m only a robot,

THERES ONE, please deal with it and put it in hs so we can blow it up…but wait I dont give a ■■■■ cuz CCP, you have done it again. Your game is absolute ■■■■ again…thanks. Unplayable, lag, logon issues, you cant even fix a godamn chat box ffs, onslaught=sucks. Why are you guys so suck on updates?
Please all you haters on haters, let me do you a favor, already unsubbing, and yes, Gonna biomass.

(Mevatla Vekraspek) #99

CCP want to fix the issue of empty space by creating more space. Sounds weird.

there is skill in eve pvp - there is just not that much in the actual fight itself - the skill in eve comes in the preparation, in building your ship, in hunting targets, in getting them to engage. But beyond that the actual fight is mostly predetermined. Ofc there are exceptions - people who are good at manual piloting come to mind, but for the most part - fights are over the moment the parties engage. The instanced pvp takes all the fun out of an eve fight - now its just the end bit - two gilas bashing each other until they die of terminal boredom.

(Kitten Ripper) #101

That’s because you don’t have any and have been avoiding it, and because the sandbox lets you. You have focused your skills on avoiding fights or to get a quick win. There will be players however who will work out the mechanic of Abyssal PvP and who will specialise in it and hone their skills in this part of the game and they will dominate it. Just like we have players who specialise in the AT and who play on an entirely different level. The same will happen here, too.

That you think it’s going to be two Gilas is likely just a balancing issue. We all know the Gila is over-popular and will possibly see a nerf at some point. Might be some will find a setup that will kill most “cookie cutter”-Gilas, but if not then it’s a balancing issue, and not any issue with Abyss PvP.

The most memorable and fun fights are those where you didn’t foresee the outcome. When you there think it’s not going to be fun then because you’re trying to foresee everything.

(NoaIV lambertsen) #102

so what is the use of that stupid tracker other then to tell me You mined this much Veldspar have a useless notice

(Kitten Ripper) #103

My guess is, it’s not such much for old players, but for new ones and to give them a sense of accomplishment as well as an overview of all the things one can do in EVE. A bit like this image only with additional counters.

(Nana Skalski) #104

I already used it to search for characters with funny names. :ok_hand:

(Aroye) #105

Triglavian related skill books are still absurd expensive, no sub capital ship is that good to justify paying that much. The ships themselves are more or less reasonably priced, but not the books. Definitely not cost effective for pvp.
