Don’t worry, the theme is ‘Fight or Flight’ so there should also be new ways for you to run away from PvP released in the next three months.

Seriously, it is not the issue with SKINS, as devs use materials to colorize them and only few ships have some special effects or unique patterns added.
I do think there is a major issue with skins and new ship models. I have no specific information about it though. You might be right.

And introducing random ships willy nilly causes balance problems. Given that CCP still needs to figure out balance for the ships that already exist, I don’t see the point.
