That space cowboy is one of the coolest things in EvE I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t normally care much for cosmetics in EvE but I need that outfit right now.

I think my characters have started to look a bit samey. I might need to do a pass of all their portraits.

Yeah, some variety would definitely help.

However I think this one is pretty cool, I like how the mask with the robe looks. And you can barely see his eyes too, good job on that. Definitely something I wouldn’t have thought of doing.

I spent longer than was reasonable moving him around in different lighting presets to get it to look the way I wanted.

This is probably known thing, but i just figured it out.
I accidentally took a portrait shot just when the character closed her eyes and noticed that the portrait actually captures it! Was suprised and thought this could be fun and interesting thing to experiment with.
Unfortunately it turned out that the client doesn’t really save the 3D models eyelids.
Explains why i haven’t seen any capsuleers with their eyes closed… Never thought that though!

The eyes closing thing is a bane of my portrait taking. I finally get the scene, angle, lighting just right and I snap the picture and inevitably the eyes are closed.
