The game will probably make less people play EVE online because
- Fans can only play 1 game at the time and active players will fragment
- (Good) work spent on Vanguard is work not spent on EVE Online

CCP could have reimplemented the Captains Quarters and have ‘The Door’ be the access point for Vanguard. The CQ could have been the prep area for players to fit up their characters for the Vanguard missions. That way players entering Vanguard would be able to use their Eve character name and have extra stats added to their profile, like a ‘Vanguard’ tab listing amount of kills, deaths, missions completed / failed, etc…

@1 it’s true already 
CCU “dropped” to ~21k-25k during event compared to ~31k before its start this will distort the stats and we might miss seeing the correlation 
oh, and you can play both modes simultaneously for one account.
@2 EVE Vanguard is part of EVE Online work spent on one of the parts benefits both imho And one huge expansion was just released for EVE Online a month ago. give them some rest

I’ve look at Youtube …you in 100% Overload a graphics , but CPU stay cool. But one thing is clear , it is a long time await part of the game and going too be available for long time. Im building a PC for Vanguard and new games. O7 dammm.

There is a space for alpha players , but please read this post full before any response. A Omega player can buy a day or week long Vanguard access ticket through New Eden Shop , and set a contract for alpha player , That player will need to work like mine ore , salvage…in exchange for ore mine he gets a ticket that active and can play a Vanguard. …I look at opportunity page and out there could be a space for Merc work , like mining , salvage. …Interesting how this can be mixed with contracting skills , and it is a additional space for PLEX value i think.[TOPIC END] CCP Every time you upload new content im having a wave of ideas in minds , But thats goood game got something what make’s special , place somewhere in hearth and makes me happy.
Me2, and vanguard is not for everyone. And afaik in a few days you wont be able to play it anymore either. Best bet is to locate game files via the advanced options in launcher and delete them manually i think. NO OFFENCE

Yah people seem to forget this is only a limited event. We probably wont get a taste of vanguard for at least 4-8 more months. There is a lot left to add into vanguard. I mean ALOT.
The issue with that is that vanguard is its own entire “game” so runs entirely independent of EVE so the link there would be clicking the door and having another entirely different game open up, not to mention that capsuleers can’t actually be used in vanguard, as it stands they aren’t going to be able to in the future either so there really won’t be a direct link like that
Well the game says 25GB and I have only located 13GB, that is why I dont delete it just yet.
I think that is to DL 12GB installer files that need to be unpacked and installed and another 13 for the Actual game. maybe?
Enjoyed the preview, looking forward to seeing what’s next. I would definitely like to see some interior ship combat mechanic (taking over cargo haulers, target extraction, something), and some elements brought over from Dust (I thought it was a fun game). Mostly ran fine even on a 1650 Super, which is below spec so that was cool. Not totally convinced on the resource gathering/crafting element but it could be neat with more features and purpose. The modes were fun for the stage of development the game is in. Overall a good start!
