I’ve only seen Fortizars at VIP sites and Astrahus on other sites. I’ve only run these sites in NullSec
My event so far,
70+ jumps,
5+ hours, only 2 vip sites,
Took 1 hour to kill one carrier and 1:30 on the other in a carrier, no loot, only tickets…
invested 200 mil in 4 lootboxes (100ticket price 100 mil -cromo cause im in null) - reward 4 mil worth of loot (not including jump costs for carrier, cause you cant gate those in null 50+ jumps to find a damn site)
This is supposed to be fun!!! LIMITED TIMED EVENTS SHOULD BE FUN!!! AND REWARDING!!! not isk and time sinks…

@Scootiesan, Tickets can be redeemed at Astra or Fortizar, any site type - get close to structure <2500m. Cross fingers the RNG will smile on you, because like other forms of gambling - the House usually wins. I imagine a few people are getting some nice things… but getting junk for 13m isk, which is going to happen more often, inspires more, um, posting - than a rare big win.
DUde, I know where they can be turned in. Im just curious if there is a difference in loot or just pure RNG which would be stupid cause tturning this ■■■■ in in the astra is at half the price.
Ive had good loot from astras and awful loot from Forts.
Maybe the odds are better in a fort? but who knows because CCP hasn’t said anything.

Just cut the experiments, we don’t like them.
On a positive note: The quality of life changes introduced are appreciated, that is a step in the right direction.

I too view this as gambling, which if I’m not mistaken was banned by CCP (at least the ISK poker site I used to use was anyway).
When responsible gaming companies and governments are trying to shut down gambling due to the addictive effects on players (often children and young adults) like ‘loot boxes’ etc… why on earth would you be adding gambling to Eve - even for a limited time event?

Here is how to fix it (also blueprint for further events):
Base line:
- keep loot containers and make it drop from bosses -> people fight over the loot as nobody know what’s inside
- loot containers contain: skins, accelerators (no BPCs), boosters, fireworks, and drop rates as in previous events
Bonus (optional part):
- implant BPC drops which need material from mining and/or hacking
- raffle ticket drops for the gambling addicts, but this part totally optional. You can keep what you have or exchange for a chance of better loot (raffle on the unopened container).
In the beginning I liked the accelerator BPC idea, but I can clearly see now, that it doesn’t work, because either the BPCs are worthless or the material to build.

I can’t believe CCP were quicker to respond to and make a statement about the Activity Tracker bug last weekend. A feature the majority of players don’t even seem interested in… Then this, well over 24 hours of issues and customer complaints and not a word!?!
The amount of hurt in this topic is astounding! Well done CCP! Reading the forums is beating playing the game by a land slide.

This. Just do it, stop the experiments, just give us this. I mean, I don’t even like PvP and/or competing with other players for the final boss’ loot, but I prefer that over this ANY DAY.

Technically, accelerator BPCs are better as they promote cooperation between different types of players/characters/activities. There was a fine balance by the end of Permafrost event, not sure why they decided to throw it out into the window this time. The only explanation is that they hired another intern that knows nothing about previous iterations of EvE events.

It’s still running, so they haven’t fixed it. Fix would be to take it down and apologize for publishing it, IMO.
Hehe CCP Falcon merged all threads and quickly ran away!

Please, three quick hot fixes:
- Reduce refine rates.
- Change despawn timer.
- Eliminate isk input for tickets.
If you make players go isk negitive for an event, your event is done.

Yeah, I was wondering why all the timestamps of the postings were becoming all jumbled up…well, we at least we now know someone is still alive at CCP.
