Wait you have to give isk to get a reward?
If you account for a fact that you can exchange real money for isk and how addicting gambling can be and that not every player sits on billions if isk to burn…

Well before you snort in derision, i always payed this game in $ at first then in € as it went more global-ish, Never once i payed with isk for time method, both now, and before my long break from eve, break that was started because ccp’s dubious policies from 2010-to 2013.
So i finally return few months ago, decide to reactivate my accounts and 1 month later, barely 6 months after sale to PA, gambling is officially trough small door in game.
Guess what, i am wallet voter. 5 min ago, all accounts are again unsubscribed, 60€ might be small sum, but is mine.

I’m guessing it has more to do with massive botting in the various rental regions. If there are bots running around doing relic sites then they probably don’t have any difficulty with shooting simple NPCs for accelerators. However in the attempt to make the sites harder to bot CCP has also certainly lowered the fun factor.

Something is missing with all those events… I can’t really put the finger on it and tell you what it is but they just feel awkward to me. Maybe if you are a high sec player who runs missions primarily all day long they are a fun distraction of the usual day to day business but if you live in null sec or in wh space there a plenty of other things that you can do with your game time where you get a better reward.
Let’s be frank here, PVE in EvE is about as unengaging and boring as PVE in a game can get. It’s not challenging or interesting, it’s merely a mean to an end to get the necessary isk so you can get into the real content which is PVP.
PVE in EvE feels like a death penalty and maybe that’s exactly what the designers want it to feel like, in my opinion, they are wasting a huge opportunity but whatever.
Since all this is only done to acquire isk to get us into epic fights, the main criteria if we want to run it or not is the isk/h relation and in this department I find all those events extremely lacking.
So to sum it up those events are neither interesting nor engaging and they lack in isk/h payoff in comparison to all the other boring PVE content, so I don’t see any incentive to run them at all.
I’m really looking forward that this event is over again so I have one less item clogging up my UI.
well unlike other mmos with “quest” the missioning pve has no “endgame” which would be highly disappointing UNLESS to make up for the number of quest givers other MMOs have with their lvl restricted lands, a agent only gave x number of missions and you were forced to move.
Bots dont tire, they will gladly make this content and any other 24/7 if its profitable.
Assuming its profitable of course, and when you have players that dont do content that bots only do, because its so hard, bots will make a lot of cash on those items, selling them. Supply by players will be minimal, from bots will be steady, and still people will want those boosters and stuff.
No wonder asian mmos are full of bots. If CCP was influenced in such a way, we are doomed. \o/

Ya, last couple events have been full of issues. I do not understand what their goal is lately.
I said it once already I will say it again… These events should be equal to or greater then the value of other forms of pve play. I can make a lot more isk just running missions or ratting. Or I can jump in any mining field and make more then this silly event. In a game that is almost all about isk, the events should be too.

CCP launched a Battleship that one shot all causing havoc… check out the recent kills on the zkill link.
But I believe they have fixed it, though it was a great laugh to watch the live feed on kills just poring in 
I have to say that this is hilarious, 1.1 second firing rate for alpha arty strikes…
