yes even a prospect with tank popped in two explosive waves, It can happen on warp in or if you are just unlucky. At least the abyss has a red grid to show you you are going to take damage. But obviously someone thought random explosions were “funny”
I would be curious to know your fitting. I was not getting two-shot, but found that I could warp out to a distance asteroid, draw out the frigates and warp back.

I also kept moving continuously. I would find that the dps would slowly overcome the rep, perform a loop warp. This is tank of the fit I use to complete tier2 resource wars. (but with miner II, of course)
Can we get less specific combat objectives, or just something other than hacking and mining ones? I have had 1 out of 6 (technically 8 because I hacked cans just to clear a couple hacking objectives, guess what they turned into…two more hacking ones) objective that are combat related and they want me to kill NPC’s with small weapons. Kind of a pain and the ass that my points haven’t budged much since the first site I ran yesterday morning.
Also, the cans are pretty garbage reward for the effort to hack them tbh. I’ve opened about ten by now and four of them were empty.
I think he’s refering to the random damage you take on warping to/from site. I’ve been getting hit almost every time I leave. Not so dangerous for a T3C but a small frig built on speed tanking or active with low EHP could be in trouble depending on the damage received, especially if they had to bail due to buckling tank.
Similar (a prospect) tanked for thermal and kinetic but with one battery and a prop mod, the damage was so massive It blew through the shields in one and well into armour, and through the rest in the second hit. I didn’t have time to register the damage type.
Just “randomly 'sploded”.
I am guessing they copied some abyss code and after taking out the red warning grid they forgot to take out the damage effects…
(I was checking the loot from a hauler wreck and the damage wave hit me like a train, long before I reached it note:- I was in warp to it, and the first hit me in warp and the second before I regained ship control).
Random isn’t fun.
At least I managed to get my pod out by mashing warp…
HS as well. I got hit by warping to data pocket once… Whats interesting is that NPCs get hit by it sometimes as well - i have seen frigs without shield that are fresh warp-ins

no. This was HS it seems there is a hidden damage wall surrounding the site, and unlike the abyss no warning. So if warping in or warping to a wreck it just blows you up with no warning.
I took a Brick tanked anti gank transport in (DST) to get my fittings and that was taken into deep structure before I could get out, That is a MASSIVE amount of damage, It will take out any ship in the game within a short time. My “rescue mission” was on grid less than 12/13 seconds (10 second align with MWD). so well over 100k damage in a few seconds, that surprised me somewhat!
Thanks. The patch today helped with looking up and down. But camera options and tactical overlay are still blocked. Luckily some settings stay what they were before entering the site, so it’s not unplayable.
Another feedback after trying out all the challenges. The balance is bad:
BS, the only ones with loot, spawn too rarely. You often wait 30min or more, while you can’t do anything useful
Red hacking cores for junk loot, seriously?
The challenges don’t reset. Once you have done the straight forward stuff, you are left with side tasks killing the flow (remember you have to sit and wait 30min for loot chances)
point rewards are crap
Also you still can’t trade the BPCs, how long does this take to fix?
