Heh, I wouldn’t worry about that. Anyone surprised by deals such as this is either naive or delusional.
I too would be interested in such tech and am more than happy to collaborate on any improvements. Naturally I would respect any NDA’s.
That’s not the point…In fact, I’m quite pleased to see how wonderfully Yossika handled the talks. She was very professional and talked a Capsuleer down. Can’t be more proud of her than I am now.
But how the hell does this son of a bitch keep leaking Intel? This “news agency” is an embrassment.
Hm. Those watching you and the Valkyrie have proven themselves to go to great lengths to secure information on your actions and dealings. So, I am unsurprised that this is among their record, Mr. Gogne. I wonder though… where could they have slipped the recording device?
It happened aboard your station. You tell me
I think @Sterling_Blades may have a point. I don’t think he’s accusing your staff of impropriety, but rather warning you to consider you may be comprimised.
This news agency has reported several times on incidents involving yourselves and the Valkyrie way beyond Sterling’s station. Is it possible they’ve hacked the shared tech you use? Suit holofeeds for example? IFF transponders hacked to listen as well as transmit?
You should get your techs to have a good look at this.
Suppose would give them something to do to earn their payday.
Worst comes to show I’ll have to strip the Incentivizer plate by plate to do a clean sweep
Never underestimate your techs…ignoring the minor things like guns, armour, life support etc remember that they also maintian the anti-grav that stops the turds just floating around your bathroom…
I get it!
I just wish they didn’t bitch about this and that everyday. Always wanting new tools. Always wanting new parts. If the Antimatter flux generator so much as takes a dent they demand a new one.
One of them - even tried to form a union. I promptly had him escorted to the airlock when that notice came on my desk.
The sound like Slip Streamers if you had ask a pro in such endeavors such as
me
Slip Streamers wear suits like the ones you describe.
This information will not cost you.
They dog cruise missiles and their tanks dog torpedoes.
Their upper ranks will gun down critical hits and their suits have lifetime probability measures with a micro clone uplink that akin to the ones used on pods.
They are auxiliary units for battleship captains.
If you got boarded by Slip Streamers you got boarded by Slip Streamers.
Kidnappers are a nuisance. You should install clone degradation on all of your models.
This way your micro clone uplink will deliver you to the correct facility no matter what happens.
I make all of my crew sign up insured before we leave dock.
It is in the fine print.

Okay, I don’t know who the hell is selling you Blue. But I want his or her contact information. Sounds like they’re moving quality. I can help with that.
I’m just thinking that perhaps your techs know something about antimatter flux generators that you might not. Just a thought, and that it might not be a bad idea to listen to that advice even if it is annoying.
You spaced the poor bastard for that, is that what you did? I didn’t realize unions were considered a capital offense.
My crews have never considered a union as far as I know, mainly because I look after them well.
A loyal crew will always ouperform one incentivized by fear in my opinion.
I see what you did there.
But thats exactly the point. You gotta handle a crew of pirates with a “firmer” hand. You, i imagine employ those that have successfully cleared a background check, maybe a drug test too. You bring on the law abiding aboard your ship…Sure, maybe show a soft spot for that one scoundrel looking for a job. But you aren’t crewing your ships with dangerous cutthroats i would guess
I do. Schism has committed piracy in every empire thus far. No secret, you could find a rap sheet for us in a afternoon. We gotta hire people who are comfortable with taking a shot at the law. Typically theses people can be pretty nasty. The types that get off on flexing on some peon. They build a hierarchy among themselves with fear.
I gotta show them who the top dog is around here.
I’m a capsuleer running a reasonable industrial and planetary operation in WH space. I have just as many bastards working for me as any pirate. But they are my bastards, and they know it. They also know that I will stand for them exactly as I expect them to stand for me.
I don’t give a damn how you handle your crew!
The thread is being derailed. Unless you’re about to suggest that my “treatment” of my crew - which you have not the slightest idea of - somehow is involved with this spying going on. We drop this.
Please keep us posted on your progress, Mr. Gogne.
Who ever has theses hostages has gone…“quiet”.
All the noise right now is coming from the Valkyire. They seem to be…having a problem.

This is now only the first attack on them. I’ve gotten reports of a outpost in wormhole space being hit with this same kind of sabotage. One that i can’t believe i was unaware of. Was ghosting one of my businesses inside there. Only reason i became aware of the it was that we got a massive traffic spike though one of the connections. Started doing some serious poking around and found a based that had it’s signature cloaked…
If i wasn’t captivated by the sight of Valkyrie shooting other Valkyrie. I would’ve been busy being beyond pissed at myself for never noticing this immediately.
After scanning some of the vessels traveling there we saw they wern’t fitted for combat. They were refitted to be mobile hospitals practically. LOTS of detox in their cargo too. Sorta put two and two together and figured this is the same drug at work.
I’ve…stayed out of it. Haven’t hit a single one of their ships. Just been, watching. Kinda feel a little sympathy for them to be honest. Call me what you will, I’m not a guy who would resort to the most deprived possible way to kill a human…Waste of time when you can just do it the old school way of a bullet between the eyes. Time is money, you know the deal.
So i look at this and feel bad for them. Even i have a heart. But, it would look bad in the eyes of my employer if i tried to be some gallant white knight and went in and tried to rescue them.
Apologies if my earlier discussion came across as an attack on your crew management, it certainly wasn’t intended that way. It was merely a discussion. As mentioned before I’m a scientist and businessman at heart and certainly wouldn’t be averse to a technology exchange regarding my crew management equipment. I can guarantee it’ll improve your crew survival rates drastically, along with their efficiency in combat.
Ed: I was serious about the sanitation engineers though, I’ve probably got the best kept pirates in Anoikis If we get Fabuleux back in one piece I may commission him to produce me some crew uniforms.
Back on track, did you pilots provide any information you can share about the kidnappers? Anything at all, sometimes others can spot something out of place that others will miss.
Also, why would the Serpentis have a bone to pick with the Valkyrie? And how do your group get on with them? You may want to issue breathing regulators to your crews as standard until this gets sorted.
