Faulty game mechanics in Triglavian systems, or CCP suceeded in creating safe Hisec for the first time

This is a game mechanic now as it’s been happening since the first system flipped.

Prove yourself worthy to enter a triglavian system by shooting at edencom.

Gotta take into account that not everybody plays this game 24/7, most players probably received a CCP email about the new content and decided to return after a long break to check it out. Information about the new content is very limited and only a small percentage of the playerbase actually browse these forums.

CCP has said on multiple times that they would be more transparent with their actions yet they still won’t give complete information regarding changes to game mechanics. Players shouldn’t have to go to 3rd party sites for info about the game.

Yes. Whenever game mechanics are changed, that information should be fully disclosed. CCP is free to keep lore and final stakes mum until they release the content - but once the content is published, they need to explain what mechanics changed so players can actually play the game without cheap losses due to secret maintenance activities.

Guys, I previously claimed that the gateguns in Trig systems onehit cruiser and bellow, now I can confirm they onehit faction fitted Rattlesnake, and it is instakill. By the way, I did post one such kill here in this forum already some time ago.

I believe this is pretty bad game mechanics, and no, I did not lose any expensive ship to the trigs. I lost one T1 frigate, and started this forum toppic.

I believe CCP should simply disable acces to Trig systems for those without standings completely, not let unaware people lose their expensive ships. Those people cannot do anything in that system anyway, all what they can do is to be instakilled on the gate even when flying expensive battleship.

I can imagine that many people would feel very disatisfied after losing their expensive toys this way.
The problem what I see here is really inconsistent NPC behavior, simply I cannot remember any other NPC behave this way anywhere any time before.

The werposts don’t onehit Rattlesnakes… The dps value is exactly known. People who lose such ships jump into systems where there is a trig gatecamp.

You also get a warning before jumping into the system. Whoever loses a ship to a trig gatecamp has to look at himself as the guilty party.

Being destroyed under 3 seconds is indeed not instakill (onehit). Ok, I admitt, Trig NPC are included in this case, I have observed there is allways a great NPC fleet on the gate, never leaving.

People simple do not expect in Hisec system to die this way, or former Hisec system, no matter how you want to put it.
I personally would not expect that. Try reset your message settings, and jump into lowsec system.
If you died under 3 seconds in faction fitted Rattlesnake, then I will admit my mistake.
Why lowsec system? You also get message that you might die. If the lowsec system is not famous for gatecamp, by the way player gatecamps, not NPC gateguns, that does not exist, then you will figure out that die that way will be difficult. (Most lowsec systems are usually nearly empty, something like 2 people in local, no one on the gate)

But warning was there, warning you of imminent danger and possible death.

And last, now I understand what you mean under Trig, you mean Trig players, yes, there was present one on the gate who described this event to me, all his action was loot the wreck, if I am not mistaken.

I’ve never seen a battleship taken down in 3 secs.

It took 20secs to kill a rattle snake and there was many of us and Steve

good guy = highsec player, no harm, go lowsec for pvp, core player
bad guy = pvper, use all mechanical advances, trolling if can)

fw = faction war
maybe CCP made safe highsec for bg. but yes another bg can still shoot you but yes.
does bg need highsec because gg? O-o

This trig mechanic are like you put ratholes in any game and here we enjoy it and talking is it nice new feature when gg get owned by trap or trap + bg who using this new trap as most powerful weapon.

Most annoying thing is bg can use this new mechanic as weapon against gg who dont have any knowledge about it. I can myself atm live with it so this is not crying. I care ā€œbig pictureā€ core play mechanis, it is not fair watching that CCP make feature that gives bg super weapon in old highsec system like suprise! I can but so little bit understand roleplay side ā€œthis is real invasion plah plah plah, players should fear and feel chaosā€ I see game is now on chaos mode better ignore it for now.

This is not fair game. highsec is not highsec. it is huge change. suprise! lose your ship now for nothing(you cant shoot back, it is 0-100 fight eat it! ) This new mechanics just put so so much ships been destroyed by suprise.

it is like fps game change as ā€œsupriseā€ shotgun is not shotgun nomore. and first players who get known change get advantage. is it fair!? so bg get advantage and it has already advantage versus gg.

this is like CCP take money from players. (ship +pod cost money)
economy get impact. do ships prices go high. let see was it CCP plan?

think you are in faction war and you core is in fw. player do not need to thing else if not want. but now yes everyone should who live close trig system or suprise loss follow.
think you home system is nennamaila, next door ā€œpipe systemā€ hikkoken is captured (faction war area is now splitted is it good for fw? ) , closest exit system to highsec ichoriya captured. how hard, annoying eve live can be.

I stop myself paying this game for now. It is so annoying live in blackrise with trigs.

ship prices cost more
players do not collect ships in hangars (effort if need move on, trig invasion is doomsday for gg)
There are less pvp fleets in blackrise. hard work for roaming…
0.0 is same as always,
highsec are same but ppl read eve maps more. highsec start looking more ā€œislandsā€ taking more time logistics and move in the highsec area. need avoid systems

i myself dont see any good things with this new mecanic. I tried that edencom v trigs content but it was totally trash content. ā€œhorse raceā€ who can shoot or support 24/7 npc’s fastest way huraah! x)

Supporting trig would actually require the ability to get into a system.

How have other players managed to ā€œsupportā€ trigs if they couldn’t get into ā€œa systemā€? Were they more ā€œableā€ than you?

Neither did I, But I am on your discord, ( Triglavian community discord ), I was there when someone has witnessed this.

My question was: ā€˜ā€™ Would you describe what happened that Rettlesnake was onehited? ā€˜ā€™
The answer was : ā€˜ā€™ No, I would not say it was onehit, it was destroyed in less than 3 seconds. ā€˜ā€™

By the way, this is the reason, why I started this toppic in the first place.
I do not believe this is intended game mechanics, that is why I point this out.

By the way, players were not part of this kill, it was pure NPC work.
