February 2020 Release - General Feedback

Actually, while I was enamored with BIG ships when I started (3 times), I quickly lost any desire to fly them. So, at least to some extent, I suggest your assertion that “…every new pilot worked to…” is a bit over broad. I have learned to enjoy and use the ships appropriate to what I want to do.

And this is exactly the problem. First off, capitals are not fun. At all. All they do is either suffocate content with their sheer power or create tidi lag fests. Then there are too many, they are too cheap and they are too powerful. Caps, Rorqs, supers and Titans were buffed to a ridiculous level 2 years ago and turned all of EVE into a trashpile. The buff to Rorquals in particular played a crucial role in this. It was changed into a ship it was never intended to be, it obsoleted entire ship classes and cooperation needs in null sec, and it was changed without any regard for other connected systems such as ore harvesting.

You started playing during a time in EVE where capitals were less powerful and you could not even mine with a Rorqual. If you biomass your characters because steps were to be taken to normalize this madness again, you are a drama queen.

Capitals are not fun? I completely disagree. Does that also make me a drama queen for having an opinion?

As you say, it’s an opinion. Opinions are not facts, they are subjective feelings.

They are, but not atm since ccp killed any capital content.

Several fleets of subcaps create lagfest, not a fleet of caps. And yes, i thought that droppers love to shoot caps, but boy i was wrong.

There are soo many ways of fixing that without touching ores. And pls: capships nerf made them quiet vulnerable against subcaps, just take last siren nerf.

Then nerf/change rorquals themselves, why touch ores?

Are you talking about the times of AOE-doomsday? Or the times when loki+assisting fighters = rape machine?

That is what I have suggested numerous times. But CCP does not listen to reason. They listen to some random noob telling them EVE needs more sound noise.

I’m talking about the times where you didn’t see capital fleets at every possible or impossible opportunity. I’m talking about times when you needed support fleets so that dreads could deal with sub caps. I’m talking about times when fighters were useless outside of skynetting and caps didn’t provide much better income than battleships.

Exactly. Excellent point.

Exactly…the new red number on the inventory and red dots in it are annoying, annoying, annoying. Tried turning it off, either gotta put that option or it has to go! CCP listen to this I don’t want it, its annoying to the point it distracts me from the game and keeps me from wanting to put stuff in my inventory…which of course I have to do all the time especially when working relic/data/combat sites. And why red, red is bad, associated with danger…why not green or yellow or blue a nice colour. Anyway I will actively petition people to help get rid of this or make it turn off in both the left side bar and those Chicken-Pox dots in inventory until you change this cause it is very annoying. Thanks in advance for fixing your new feature…and by the way there are some other things I’m glad you did…but would be nice to get chat fixed too.

Playing EVE since 2012, and i remember ratting carriers with old fighters, i also remember PL and snuff dropping supers on everything that could potentially move.

Just looked at some ore scans and laughed out loud.
Did they legalize meth in Iceland?
I see guys with heaps of Rorqual accounts figuratively pissing IRL money away to CCP.
Does CCP not like money?

What does any of this have to do with CCP not liking money?

oh no…I used that function all the time, will have to check it :frowning:

Do you really need that spoonfed to you?

Apparently because you’re living in some weird victim fantasy world, lmao. I don’t know what rules you ate playing by, but I don’t see a problem with any of these changes.

The market will adapt and you’ll end up getting roughing the same amount of wealth you’ve always been getting with mining. Unless you’re some trash excessive multi-boxer in which case gold riddance to you, lmao.

If you´d leave your fantasy world you´d realize that it´s not about wealth…

Please enlighten me, because all I’m see are kids crying about mining this and mining that, but no actual support. When you ask, they all just dismiss people saying things like what you and that other kid said. It’s almost like some weird attempt to be edgy like:

Please explain how this has caused “stagnation” in the game. Last I checked 20k ppl where recently still attempting to murder each other. Do you only live in HS? You do know there are other reigns in the game that get content on a regular basis. Now that mining in a rorqual is dead, less content for the PVPers. you can say this is helping the game out but honestly the content being generated by this is gone witch means there is now no need for an umbrella there for no need for supers and there for no longer any need for null sec space. Might as well shut down null and just be a bunch a HS cancer.

If you ask me capital escalation in combat is dead, witch means those of use who spent the time to get into a super and enjoy capital combat now have no content to enjoy. Also if you really think about it the large alliances that have stockpiles of capital ships are now going to dominate every battlefield in eve.

And in the same post he says:

Man, the posters on this forum are really dumb.

Did you even read the post?

I just saw your hypocritical statements and commented on it.
