Many a true word spoken in jest … You are absolutely right:

  • While you are krabbing away behind your wall of info bots (data scraping is not against the EULA but should be) earning ISK to PLEX for your accounts the REAL customers are in hi-sec paying cash for subs & plex packages

Edit: CCP would never tell how the cash flows but there aren’t many hi-sec players krabbing for 100’s of millions per hour

I never was in an alliance that uses info bots, I don’t know of any data that can ā€œscrapeā€ contents of local, other than screen readers, and never used any of the sort, I’m not using near2 or other ā€œ3rd party softwareā€ that godawful players are blaming for their total ineptitude at hunting, I do not own a super or rorqual, don’t live in good space.

But what I get is a constant stream of monkeys who call themselves roamers who would ā€œroamā€ into me instead of going straight to Delve, because they’re afraid of Delve, but not of me. I would get filament trash after filament trash starbursting and safelogging in my space because they want to avoid pvp at all costs. I got all the downside of nullsec without upsides, so when you want to complain about super crabs, botters, or anything else, GO FIND A GOON, AND F U BOTH.

Literally every incursion runner and abyssal runner.
I haven’t looked into that conduit thing yet to know if it also applies.
Whoever can’t do a hundred mil in hisec is either a noob, or a scrub.
I’m thinking of moving already, because nullsec outside of umbrella is getting more and more insufferable, to the point where hisec is becoming a better alternative.

Do something productive mod…

PIN and link the nfo on updating the launcher MANUALLY(yes, ccp BROKE the updating ability of launcher, AGAIN)

I know there was a process of moving cache and then downloading the ā€˜update’ and updating manually(cuz like i said prev—^ )

but it does not matter if u do, I guess, cuz there is prolly MORE damage in the ā€˜update’, so w/e…OR…it IS a positive for once by NOT updating…GENIUS

u may hide this post now, (what a productive forum u have here)

NVM i have it for any1 who needs it

update at ur own risk

I did half ur job, this link should b pinned on EVERY new thread regarding ā€˜patches’

CCP added filaments to ORE LP Store.

Told you we can trust CCP to ā– ā– ā– ā–  this up.

Literally the dumbest thing to do is to add an infinite supply of stupid to the game, and yet, here goes CCP Nothing.

Doesn’t matter because they fukd up the droprate.

Already hundreds in jita, they already cost nothing, because there’s one in every single data site.

Wasn’t even a guess that the droprate will be set to super stupid, because imagine free gank having a cost, customers would not sub for this, right?

The idea that these being available being a bad thing is an idea I think you will find many disagree with.

Show me on the Rorq where the bad man touched you.

I explained already why it’s a very bad thing. Once again, like during Derpout, 5 man ganktard fleets will completely exterminate subcap pve, while running from every attempt of pvp, thus contributing nothing to pvp. All the while, supercap krabbers under umbrella would laugh at 5 man gantard fleets, so they won’t even disrupt them.
It’s sending two godawfully stupid messages to anyone in nullsec. Message one is: ā€œget into a bloc, buy a super, this is now the only way you can sustain yourself in nullsecā€. Message two is: ā€œif you don’t listen to message one, you’re free to be on-demand clown for ganktard fleets, chasing them 23/7 for no effect cuz they will just run away from any pvp, and you will pay us for itā€.
So yeah, making those available to every ganktard trash who is averse to not only pvp but also any sort of minimal effort at expense of everyone outside umbrella nullsec is pretty much fking dumb.

Never owned a rorq, my space doesn’t allow 5 minutes of siege without at least some moron flying into it.

Since they are so widely available, perhaps an enterprising miner could use the ā€œnoise-5ā€ to bounce around among inactive systems. PvP’rs want to follow the Signal.

I think the Noise series should belong to Thukker Tribe, not ORE. The Thukker are all about mobility and were pioneers of fuel block technology.

Clearly you never mined in your life.
I can think of relic/data sites hunter being interested, but mining? Not a chance.

Ganktards you mean.
No real pvper in eve has any trouble finding fights.
It’s the minimal-effort-averse trash that is only good for ambushing barges who needed that crutch.

I have put a lot of thought into this.

ORE is experimenting with Rogue Drone technology. It is my belief that the Drones were the actual inventors, or at least distributors of the filament technology.

I think the Thukker are tightly coupled with this, and possibly related to either the Angels, ORE, or both. However, they operate more secretively and wouldn’t put their name on it themselves.

Out of curiosity, how do you find your fights successfully?

Or are you not a ā€˜real PvPer’

Wondering because not being able to find fights is a common refrain I hear.

He doesn’t actually PvP.

He’s a miner who loves to complain and whine about how it’s unfair that he can’t be left alone for hours upon hours to just mine.

You grab your balls and make a timer.

I was a part of full pvp alliance once, and after 3 months of 3 fleets a day I realized that eve pvp is mindnumbingly boring when you win, and even more boring when you don’t. I’m never doing it more than I have to ever again.

Come live in my space. The only way to not find fights here is to actively avoid them at all costs. Especially with fukstupidaments you will get sick of constantly chasing trash around by third hour.
