It is always description of being constructive in eve terminology .
That would require owning a citadel to use as a war HQ, and would expose the attacker to incoming wars and/or allies joining the target.
It just wouldn’t work out for DMC the way you might envision it, even if DMC is a significantly better player than Gix (which I doubt).
Would probably be easier to just gank him?
Yeah. I had it backwards. Gix is certainly deccable. Been a long time since I got involved in high sec fighting.
I made my corp back in 2011 to troll forum rage queens into deccing me. That’s the last time I got involved in wars. Low is where you go to fight for fun.
That said. I’ll be happy to pitch in on a merc operation if DMC wants to really have some fun with Gix without needing a Citadel.

I wish peeps could still war dec me. Hell if I would love the old system to come back. I’m not about to buy a structure just to war. However I’d love the old system to come back. If peeps were sore about me, war decc me all you want. Its content and fun

If ‘kills’ and the count of them were all that matter, I could have 56 kills in a day zonking noobs. Lol…some poor guy in a Venture yesterday even announced in Local he was under attack by Serpentis and he had no drones and exactly where he was. Could’ve got my Algos out and zonked him in no time.
But instead, I just gave the guy a corp to join, and I had great fun doing something that never gets recorded in zKillboard…running rings round the gankers. It was obvious they were after me, as they several times followed me through systems. And when they finally cornered me in a station in Pozirblant…I just logged off Cilla and log in an alt in the original system they’d chased me from and carried on mining. Great fun ! Glad gankers are not the smartest cookies out there. I enjoy the cat and mouse.

@Gix_Firebrand I just researched this and confirmed that if you plop down a tower somewhere, you can become dec-able, though you won’t be able to launch your own wars unless you own an actual citadel.
I thought you had to own a citadel (or a POCO) to be eligible for incoming wars as well, but looks like that’s not the case. I’m going to plop down a tower somewhere later and see if anyone from the forums wants to sock it to the “mean forum troll gankbear griefer belligerent undesirable.” It would actually be somewhat inconveniencing since I use this character for hauling these days!

I wish there was some place one could genuinely practice. People say one learns from one’s mistakes, but often things are over so quickly that its not always clear what the mistake was.

It’s easy to practice on the test server, through duels with people you know, and with corporation members (have to set “friendly fire” to on).
The problem with practice in EVE, however, is that it won’t teach you the most important skills of all, which are aggression and calmness under pressure. Mechanical skills are a very minor component of victory compared to those two, and the only way to learn those skills is through continuous exposure to genuine risk.
