In a way, I wish there was a “grandfathered” clause to this new patch…While I have zero sympathy for people losing their stations (I kill them myself), losing all their stuff too is pretty harsh…especially for those that are currently out of the loop for whatever reason…

phones barley work there and then fuel cost is too high to online anything when not needed becuase its running on low power dont mean its abandoned. And secondly your remove the good ore from moon bases and you actually expect pepole to return your driving pepole away from the game not every thing is a bout low sec asnd null how your going to expect new players get isk ? and not every one wants to go to null right away if ever get a grip alredy stop the Insanity

Not really. You will just have to move your hangars to other stations than hub.
Fuel the station or take it down…it’s not complicated…

125M to 150M is not expensive…also, taking it down is free…

heh not every one has that to spend there is more than fuel stations to do …
last time i boght fuel it cost 200 -300 mil and it was the cheapeast at that time
thirdly why take it down if its not abandoned like players has not left game ?

I agree 100% with you for those that go “abandoned” after the patch…I’m just pointing out that including stations that are “abandoned” before the patch might be a bit too much…
sound like you dont have a station to fuel its a lot costing to fuel it specially when you dont need to refine anything with removing the good ore alot athanors going to stuggle some will be taken down

POCO taxes and access is not controlled by ACL but by standings. Would be good thing to move poco access control to ACL.

A reprocessing facility runs you 720 fuel to turn on and 240 per day. That’s 6720 for the first 30 days…at the current fuel price in Jita of say 17K each that will run you 114M or 3.8M a day…

I like the idea about an NPC faction taking it over. Maybe after a set time period an NPC Faction moves in and the station becomes a D.E.D. Site or a Stronghold. Abandoned station size could determine difficulty, with the destruction of the station dropping some rare faction module or BPC.
If you tied that together along with the hacking then I could see corps abandoning stations on purpose to create Pirate hot zones for a chance at a rare loot drop while still needing to defend it from another player/crop who wanted a new base. Maybe put a limit to the amount of stations an entity (player/corp/alliance) can have in a system to prevent mass abandonment abuse.

Then take the station down if you/they are not going to be around for a month…it costs nothing! Such drama for absolutely no reason…
Of course I don’t nor do I care…you have 3 options…deal with it and hopefully with less drama…
