Maybe you can help me then. I just started an ISK doubling service and need my first customer. I’d like to work in 1B ISK increments just to keep things moving quickly. As you would be my first customer, I am happy to say you will actually get an extra 10% as a thank-you for trusting me.

While the overall intention is great, the issue still remains as before, people will meta-game the results with alts and friends.
A great idea could be down-voted by alts just for spite, thus giving the illusion that it’s a bad idea.

Look, I’m not saying that his analogy wasn’t flawed, but he clearly meant that while someone who’s only been caught by the police speeding one or two or three times would maybe just get a warning and not a ticket, by the time they’ve been caught 50 times, they’d be getting tickets every time (like maybe they got 2 tickets in the first 5 times, but from time #6 to time #50 they’ve probably gotten 45 more tickets for 47 total out of 50 chances)…
