Hey @keepe can you expand on that a bit, do you have specifics on how they were nerfed?
I’ve run a number of the BR FOBs in the last month or so with a three to five man crew and haven’t noticed anything significant change.

So content that was designed to encourage highsec players to work in groups can be run by a single Rattlesnake - Is working properly?
If you look at it that way, yeah it looks like a failure. I blame lack of understanding of high sec players on the devs part.
But put the goals aside and look at it as a dynamic pve. It scales up or down, it provides challenges to players of different skill levels, NPC fleets vary on each approach so its not boring. To me its a spot on.
Too bad devs abandon new stuff so eagerly.
the february patch nerf all waves , before this patch it was impossible make this with out our compo fleet , now is possible make this with 2 ships , look the zkill before with patch only us farm with always same compo.
Lot of cry "it was difficult etc etc " = nerfed
So bye bye this pseudo PVE HL
If you were able to solo these (albeit it a fit that would have to be well-tanked) and there was a decent payout (more that Burners), I suspect that these would attract more players.
There are kills on zkill with only one pilot. My personal feel is they have logi backing them up in most cases. Though i have heard of a true solo.golem fit. However the fits needed to solo one of these for 20 mil isk and drops from 0 to maybe 180mil could be used elsewhere for more reliable income of similar or greater levels.
Something of uncertain availability requiring lots of flying is never going to be large scale popular.
I’d love to see the Golem fit.
I’ve done one in a thermal tanked passive Rattlesnake on sisi, even better with 2. Takes about 45 mins to an hour afk. Anyone done it solo in a Rattler on TQ?
It’s not that they don’t understand high sec players. It has more to do with CCP being hellbent on exporting more of the rubbish from null sec to high sec to make high sec just as miserable as null sec.
it is fun.
I’d be more impressed if that comment came from someone with a few on their killboard…
No offence intended…
Just killed one of them in a Vindicator. Took a bit of working around, and learning the site…one loss of an 800+m ship… Was chasing the 800m bounty i read about. took me about 3 hours to do, and got nothing for it but the 70m or so from the structure modules. If you are flying an 800+m ship out there in order to solo a site…Why not get a good bounty payment?
Because CCP are trying to force players to team up. You need some minimum number of people to get a payout.
I can mail you that ingame if you want. It is still evolving and I may do some more of these till I get bored or lose my ship.
It took about 75 minutes and another pilot to loot the site. The spawns are not consistent, so I am not sure if I have seen the most difficult response fleet or not. Avoiding the ECMs was a huge plus in the Guristas site.
Yes please (thanks in-advance!)
You are saying that I am not having fun based on my killboard. Killboard is a very narrow metric.
Some people count the replies from trolling as a metric for happiness, or tears, or the lines of passive aggressiveness generated; 'D
But what i’m trying to say is, fun is relative. "The process me trying to kill an FOB is fun, which as far as I know isn’t on zkillboard.
Can you remember the first day you undocked in EVE? Was that fun? That too is not on a killboard.
Fly safe
No, he’s saying that the claim that “killing FOBs is fun” would have a lot more weight coming from someone who has killed FOBs. If you had killed any, they would be on your billboard. So you either didn’t, which makes the claim pretty weak (how could you know?) Or you are a forum alt (fair enough, my hypothesis, but posting on your FOB killing toon would allow us to quickly look at how much fun of the FOB kind you’re having, which would be neat).
or the player who got the km didn’t allo zkill to fetch the kills ?
it’s up to an 800mil payout that goes to the whole fleet if you used say 20 people each should get around 40mil or so. and if you got 70 mil I’d guess the individual pilot cap is 70mil, so using 11-12 people is probably the best way to max out payments. That’s all guess work though I’m not sure what the actual payout curve is.
using an 800mil ship to chase a payout, well you figured it out and can run the site again, and again and again. so if it paid out 800mil each time that would be pretty broken.
they got a payout solo, plus whatever loot dropped.
yep, I’ve never given zkil my API, or logged in so it’s missing a lot of what I’ve done in the past. And then it’s missing even more as a lot of final blows would have gone to other players that left the game.
Actually the first day I undocked in Eve is on the killboard (not this character though) and no it wasn’t fun, I had no idea what had happened. I didn’t have an NPE or tutorial to tell me going to lowsec in a T1 frigate wasn’t a good idea, I didn’t even know what lowsec was. It was just another gate on route to where i wanted to go…
I never said you weren’t having fun. You said killing FOB’s was fun, I simply noted you haven’t killed any with this character, which sort of makes the “killing FOB’s is fun” comment mute.
Had you said “trying” to kill FOB’s is fun, I would haver had no comment.
NB, The "process of you trying to kill a FOB would appear on the killboards if you lost a ship to one - It would appear as an NPC Only kill.
As I said, no offence intended but you seem to have ignored that part - Might I suggest you look at how your responses are worded before getting your nickers in a knot about being trolled.
