Freeing Slaves

I would like to free the slaves i capture while running missions, etc, literally, set them free is all, I keep all my mission items, i have lots and lots and lots of slaves.

Suggestion (Option to Free Slaves when found in-game)

Yeah, I think the limiting the gains or decreases would have to be a thing. I am thinking a dynamic idea possibly with decay either way might be an interesting concept as well. Take FacPo or Concord where you could change response rates might spice things up a bit to that aspect. Say you attempt a gank on someone with high concord standing and suddenly concord shows up just a bit faster, or where you can slow down FacPo or concord and punch above your weight class in FW or ganking. Freeing my slaves

If there’s already a mechanic for this, i’m unaware of it after searching for it, and i apologize for bringing this up. I’d like some way to do a bit of RP around the Slaves that I capture from mission sites and whatnot… specifically i wan to free them, maybe at a minmatar staion? in a manner similar to an LP store? maybe they turn into Freed Slaves?

Please help free the slaves in eve other than right clicking trash, or jettison pew.

You could bring all the slaves to a non-Amarr station and “tell them they’re free”, giving them Frozen Food, Dairy Products and Tobacco to live as a free man.

If you want to roleplay, that is.

Or drop a few of them with Small Arms and Confiscated Viral Agent in an Amarr station to sow chaos and fight back against their oppressors.

You can also space (jettison) them. Not sure that’s any worse than “trashing” them in port…

How so?

Slavery is something of all times. Of course it’s considered a bad thing, especially nowadays, but that’s no reason to remove it from the game.

In EVE slavery creates an interesting background lore for two factions in the game, a background story as well as a source of current conflict between the Amarr and Minmatar factions.

It would be silly to ban or cancel all books that contain slavery as part of the story, historic or fiction. I don’t see why game lore should be treated differently.

People who want video games changed due to real-world politics and views have issues. If you can’t separate a game from your real-world views, you need serious professional help…
