so sue the perpetrators of the DDOS instead of blaming the victim.
DDOS is low tech, anyone with an IRC client can do it.
(if you run anything that can send a ping, you can run IRC).
It’s also been getting more of a problem thanks to things like smart fridges, air con, watches etc. Now many homes contain a dozen or more devices that can be hacked to send attacks, not just one that sometimes isn’t even connected to the internet.
