Games runs much slower after update. the Player Experience Team ask me to share that here
Many of us have been discussing this in a few other CPU/GPU threads.
Yeah. Is an obvious and general issue after the last update. Anyone who plays the game knows, but CCP have decided that the “Player Experience Team” is not supposed to share information about the experience of the game with the Develepoment team. So as customers, instead of telling the problems of the product to the company, they suggest us to come here and explain the problems of the product to other customers. Absurd as it sounds.
+1
my client freezes for 2-3 seconds after i jump a gate, while the client loads my ship in the next system. i heard its a problem with t3 cruisers but i’m not sure.
my client crashed and i lost money because of this crappy update, but instead they do frontier streams…
Noticed this problem at the current event.
There are several active threads on this. Problems have been present since the “EVE Evolved” update.
Glad I’m not the only one having this problem. I’ve been getting lag any time there are over 24,000 players online. Makes me wonder: why did they push out all these purely aesthetic upgrades (including the crappy new ship info window) without upgrading their servers? One would think it’d be considered an essential step. Prettier graphics, especially that new window, use far more server resources. It’s 2025, I would think by now all companies would know to upgrade servers prior to making their games prettier. And before anyone suggests it’s my computer, I have the Ryzen9 5900X and AMD Radeon 6950 XT, a top-tier rig. That and it’s clearly internet lag, not graphical lag; I can run EVE at 144 fps on max settings when there are under 20,000 people online. I do find it bizarre that it only takes about 5000 more people to make a difference. The lag isn’t unbearable, mind you, and I can still do Mining/Exploration, but I wouldn’t fly in Low/Null or do challenging combat sites with this amount of lag.
