I’ve seen the argument made that it is not right that free Alpha accounts be able to gank Omega noobs. Fair enough. The Omega is paying and the Alpha isn’t. But just as I am about to agree with the sentiment, I suddenly wonder why that is not right yet a years old free Alpha can ‘compete’ with an Omega noob for asteroid ore to a value that is greater than replacing any Venture and nobody bats an eyelid.

What do you mean mandatory? I know how to do that now already.

My stream title was changed Stream Title to Eve Online Live AFK Mining in Uedama from Eve Online Live AFK Hauling to Jita and not one ganker cared to visit.
I waited for a entire 30 minutes too, so having some rule to make it become mandatory won’t automatically generate content and interaction.

Risk vs Reward is the issue and I/we read from time to time that Capsuleers are not taking huge risks anymore.

This is why the alpha should be removed from the game, and CCP goes back to a 2 week limited free trial.

Also, CCP should seriously implement the blue check paid verification for forum usage. Open to anyone that is willing pays $8/month for one certified character to spam these hallowed halls.

A flat rate fee across all accounts at the moment ensures that it’s fair. Now if alpha accounts were removed then I think the blue check mark should be rolled into the cost of Omega.

By “rolled into” I assume you mean “included in”?
Regardless how they do it, I wouldn’t be against Alphas not allowed on the forum. It would cut down on a lot of drama and ridiculous claims.

I’d simply have it so a person had to nominate a single character from an Omega account, and once that character is used, no other character from the account can ever be used. And I’d ban Alphas completely from posting.

Lets be honest CCP would save a lot of money and barely impact their dev’s ability to communicate by simply shutting down these forums and just using external social media like their Reddit, Discord, or Twitter. No one gets any speech.

This right here is what I was trying to say.

Although, if an alpha wants to pay 8$ /month to nominate a single character from their account I wouldn’t be opposed to that. After all, it would be a revenue stream.
