I thought I would share a type of graph that can be effected by some ganking.

Well it would not be a bad thing to have 8 dollar a month Omega clones as even gankers gotta pay and miners sweat don’t pay.

Here’s my position.

remove alphas. Make them 2 week free trial accounts instead.

charge $8/month to have one(1) nominated character from an omega account to be verified, checked, and allowed to post on the forums.

Alphas can use the in-game ticket feature if they need to contact ccp for critical things

sweating from hard work isn’t something to be ashamed of.
Let’s look at those positions;

Removing alpha status would deplete the entire database of pilots on holiday’s taking a break. It would be of zero benefit to return and start over once a clone state stops paying for the month.

Charging 8 per month to gain forum access as long as that also includes gametime as currently the 24th month plan comes to around 9USD.

New Capsuleers sort of need the ingame help channel to sort out their version of critical issues as really to them their basket would be fill of complaints such as Why Was I Ganked?"

Any type of sweating while mining on an asteroid belt could be a sign of anxiety caused by stress that is being generated by the thought of being ganked any minute. We’re not hard at work while playing Eve Online.

Allow me to speak into them.
That’s the beauty of omega. Once the two week trial period is over, a person can either decide to pay the monthly subscription or not. They can even take a break from paying the subscription during school months, and pay for a month when they are on holiday. Your progress is saved.
The 8USD to have access to respond in the forums is ala carte. You don’t have to pay that if you don’t want to. You just don’t get to respond. Read, that’s free. Respond, that’s going to cost you. The purpose of this: those that really care enough about the game and it’s well being would be those that would pay to use this service. It would eliminate a lot trolls, sock puppets, alt accounts and help reign in the sheer amount of counter productive bickering.
This fee would also help to bring on real forum moderators. One that do this for a living. It would be a paid position. No more arbitrary rule enforcement by volunteers.
I never said they would be denied access to the in game channels. Just forum posting. Unless they want to pay 8$ per month on top of the monthly sub. Remember, it’s ala carte.
But rest assured, they can use the in game help channels, why was I ganked, and all the others to their heart content.
That, is a personal problem and not one I’m going to discuss here. But thanks for sharing. I guess 
Maybe it’s just me but if I cannot respond on a forum I wouldn’t know why I’d stick around on the webpage.
It wouldn’t be a problem for your $8 participation but I wouldn’t imagine people reading a forum they can’t participate in.

More to the point…why should those who don’t pay a single penny towards the game get to complain, bicker, or demand changes. They’ve got what they paid for.

I honestly don’t think there should be free accounts whatsoever.
I don’t agree with the free to play model. It preys upon micro transactions which is, in my opinion, is scuzzy underhanded way of conducting business. It promotes, exploits and preys upon the entitled mentality. (One of many, Sure. Like the whole “you deserve [insert item being pandered here]. It will make you happy.” Like 99% of the car advertisements out there. But I digress into a personal soap box of mine)
But it’s a free market and CCP has chosen to go that route.
But the question is, how sustainable is that business model? And that I don’t have the answer to. I’m sure CCP does financial projections and analysis. I just hope the people they have hired / contracted really do know their stuff.
I am still able to gank them in lowsec with my alpha clone alts though.
