Gankers During High-Sec PVE missions?

Don’t run abyssals one jump out of Jita and this will be less likely to happen.

No!

Bullying and griefing is preventing newbros from participating in piracy because -some- people want to undock risk free.

i didnt say anything about abyssal space, because i understand the mechanics and it’s a risk im willing to take.

I only mentioned mission ( level 3 , especially )

So please don’t add random things into discussion.

once again the loser who ruins other peoples gameplay because he;s a losers mocking people who play worse than him…typical loser who thinks he’s the best.

Same ‘there should be no PvP in high sec rhetoric’, but Uta still seems active and has a different style.

@Coffe_s_Babe if you want to fly in a part of space where you don’t have to face risk of PvP you should give Exordium a try!

High security space is not total perfect security space, it merely has high security and does have PvP.

Star Wars Episode 1: Qui-Gon Jinn & Jar Jar Binks

I’d say this one compliments it.

dont run missions in waters where the sharks swim oi

Yeah, like dropping a giant structure at tranquility when it’s still allowed. Things aren’t that simple. PVP in Eve-Online isn’t just shooting ships. Gankers presence aren’t just about ganking. It is politics.

Two thoughts on your statements:

So you are only ever interacting with NPCs to get blueprints and mine and build everything yourself? Also you don’t plan to sell your loot on a market?
No PVP would mean almost no interaction with the market. Because you try to sell something over the loss of someone else or you try to undercut someone when buying stuff.

Ganking with fleets of alpha pilots isn’t easily possible or allowed. All those catalysts are omega status. If you are really in doubt, you could measure this…you can set up to get ganked, carefully measure the time it takes to put your ship down, see the applied damage and divide it by the count of the catalysts. Then evaluate against the possible output of an alpha or omega fleet as the DPS on an alpha catalyst is about half of that of an omega one.
If you really find the wrong DPS count, then i would suggest to report it to FC with your evidence calculation.

Alpha characters can’t set safety to red, thus they can’t gank.

Right, that is also true…it wasn’t absolutely clear to me from the rant where exactly his/her ganking is happening.

If it is in highsec, then the catalysts have to be omega or they can’t activate any weapons since that change was established in 2022.

If it is outside of highsec, then only one active logged in alpha per player is allowed and can activate their weapons. Then you can possibly measure from the ganktime and DPS if it is an alpha or not as described in my last post. And if the whole ganking fleet is alphas, then you might consider reporting it to FC so they can look into it. Can still be a valid ganking by 15 friends using alphas, or a roaming fleet event using alphas which is a common socializing thing, sometimes organized as twitch/discord/youtube events. FC can then sort it out afterwards if needed.

So please @Coffe_s_Babe clarify your issue or if you had a misunderstanding of mechanics.
