Ah, but one of the lessons we can take from real life is that the biggest whiners often get the biggest rewards. It is unsurprising that people would bring that same successful mentality into Eve and the forums.
Damn, it took me 6 months on Xuixien.
Are you watching that film you linked to @Xuixien ? It’s brilliant stuff.
She seems very biased against them. Who has the right to say anybody else’s life playstyle is invalid? Psychopaths are playing the game of life on their own terms.
Um yeah, like last year dude.
Trusted friends and good advice. A excellent ex Goon FC didn’t hurt any either.
But that got me thinking, if you chk my zKillboard, I was far nastier when I 1st started and had far less sp than I do now.
The bottom line is you don’t need sp or a big bling ship to win. You just have to try.
I cannot speak for CCP, I am but the humble CSM carebear . . .
Have the pie.
It is not the purpose of the game, as some would have you think, but it is a part of the game. It happens and you can either run from it or learn from it.
There are folks who choose not to fly the path of violence but you can be damn sure the successful ones understand that not all others make the same choice.

Can I buy extra “likes” to give out with Plex? I’m running out today.
I put this in another thd but it seems to fit here as well…
Excitable Boy (2007 Remaster) - YouTube
I met a man named Renly Rohan at my old job. He ended up going to prison for murder. Just sayin’.
Right, that limitation is dumb.
Okay, Chucky doll, show us on Renly where you touched him
Apparently the backside with only sand and no vaseline.
Except, you never wrote some gankers are sociopaths.
Here are the relevant quotes:
ie. only some ganker are nice people.
Would be great if you could even just remember what you actually wrote, but I know that’s asking for too much.
Damn. Some Renly Rohans are just evil!
Well said @Mike_Azariah
I’m not going to read all 285 posts so I’ll respond directly to the OP.

Eve Online in nature is open for pilots to play as they wish within the TOS. The game is often referred to as a social experiment and it’s easy to understand why. We’ve been given much more freedom to influence and impact each other than in any other recent game I can think of.
The point in saying all this is that it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are people that play Eve Online that just “want to see the world burn”. Players that purely gank for sport or fun are part of this complicated game just as those of us that gank or kill for profit. I understand you don’t like it and you’ve attempted to bring your real life definitions and applications into a video game but again… it’s just a game.
If you are being harassed or bullied you have the freedom to submit a ticket, block the users, and/or get off the game. If users are truly crossing a line as deemed by CCP then they will be dealt with.
So no one really cares that one more person that can’t handle the open nature of Eve Online is quitting because evil gankers are mean. This essay of yours was best kept to the exit survey you can give CCP upon cancelling your subscriptions.
Role playing the bad guy or the villain doesn’t actually make you one. If that’s how someone wants to play out a fantasy in a sci-fi MMORPG then that’s cool. Any attempt by you or anyone else to play arm-chair psychologist is just dumb.
Lastly, had you ever thought that purchasing a mining permit would have saved you this grief?
Violence, including psychological violence, is the only means some people have of expressing themselves. Take extra special note of the word “some” here. And don’t own it unless you must.
Yeah, it’s a shame that some people insist on using verbal and psychological violence against the gankers they apparently hate. Because seriously, it’s a PvP game, why would any sane and normal person get so upset about people doing PvP in a PvP game?
